July 2012 edit

Please do not express your point of view in Wikipedia articles, as you did to City University of Seattle. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the balanced tone expected in an encyclopedia. I am aware of the situation, and I am much better situated to deal with it than you . if you have problems with the material there, please discuss them on the talk page. We will not permit unfounded or exaggerated accusations; we will equally prevent white-washing. DGG ( talk ) 06:32, 10 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

City University of Seattle edit

I wanted to respond to your edit comment you added at the article: You wrote, "The references are not in english and are questionable. The Slovak campus was rated as the top business school in Slovakia. It did not go bankrupt and the Swiss partner had the legal issues." Note please, that I am not siding for or against your position. I do take issue, however, with your reasoning. For one, English sources are not required, and although non-English sources are less convenient, we don't automatically presume they are not reliable (see: WP:NONENG). You also make the claim that those sources are "questionable". I was wondering if you could explain a bit more what leads you to that conclusion. Are they from publishers with poor reputations, for example? Lastly, you assert that the university did not go bankrupt and the Swiss partner had the legal issues... do you have a published, independent, reliable source for that view? I'm asking, again not to attack your view, but to try and show you the standard of argument that is required to engage at an article, especially a controversial one. If I can assist you with your research of presenting your views more effectively, please feel free to contact me on my talk page any time. Cheers, Ocaasi t | c 23:18, 20 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
