Image copyright problem with Image:Kaczur nick250.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Kaczur nick250.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ginkgo100 talk · contribs 00:25, 9 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Template:Ont post-secondary edit

Hello,

I responded to your point on Template:Ont post-secondary. There is a difference between a federated college (ie part of a larger whole) and an Affiliate College (an autonomous institution with an formal agreement of affiliation with a larger institution). Federated College should not be listed on the template, but I think Affiliate College's should. The Affiliate Colleges have their own governance, tuitition, application, faculty, unions, staff etc. In other words, except for their lack of degree granting powers (for which they require the affiliation agreement) they are autonomous institutions. Here is the affiliation agreement Western has [1]

I tried to add them but i've been away from wiki editing for a while and the template is proving way to complicated for me. Is there anyway you can add them in? I've alphabetized them on that templates discussion page. Dowew (talk) 04:33, 1 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for April 4 edit

Hi. When you recently edited Menomonee Falls High School, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Punter (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Proposed deletion of Justin Bethel edit

The article Justin Bethel has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. -- Alan Liefting (talk - contribs) 20:41, 28 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Erin O'Toole edit

Please note that under WP:BLPNAME, we require a proper source to include any information at all about a person's spouse or children, especially if they're not also public figures and thus naming them might constitute an invasion of their privacy. If you can add a reliable source which gives O'Toole's wife's name, then it can be added — but not without that source. Thanks. Bearcat (talk) 04:36, 27 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

His own website doesn't count as a reliable source for this purpose. Actual media coverage that mentions them or nothing. Bearcat (talk) 05:02, 27 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Karen Ludwig edit

Hello NEPats,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Karen Ludwig for deletion, because it seems to be a test. Did you know that the Wikipedia Sandbox is available for testing out edits?

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. AnupamTalk 01:42, 20 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
