Request to Rename the Image File

Dear Minh Nguyễn,

Would you please help me to rename the image file that I uploaded at en.wikipedia for several days ago? The reason that why I would like to ask for your assistance to help me to rename this image file is correcting the obvious errors in the file name.

The image file that I mean is: "1024px-Location East Nusa Tenggara Great Manggarai.png" and I would like to change this image file name become "1024px-Location East Nusa Tenggara Greater Manggarai.png"

I would grateful if you could help me realize my desire to request for renaming the image file that I mention above. Thank you very much and may GOD bless you always.

Hi,

I wanted to say "Thank you" for fixing my accidential deletion of some text on the Pope John Paul II article on May 1. I had repaired several "dead links" for the article and I guess after a few hours online, I got a bit tired. I logged off once I saw that my last two edits were reverted. I was actually rather embarassed at my error and I'm glad it was fixed. Thanks again for your quick action.

living-or-DEAD-tude of link, may depend upon user privileges

Please see this edit which I made recently to the article SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. When I tried to access the material pointed to by the URL (http://www.stanforddaily.com/cgi-bin/?p=556) in footnote no. "[1]", I got a squawk of "You do not have permission to access this document."; but when others try to click there, YMMV. I was not sure if there is such a thing as a "user-privileges-dependent" version of the {{dead link}} tag, so I just used an ordinary (plain vanilla) {{dead link}} tag. Sorry if I am ignorant of what the other options might have been. ("See also" the new footnote no. "[2]" in that article). Just "FYI". C U ! --Mike Schwartz (talk) 19:42, 20 July 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for your note. The reason for the apparent blotchiness of the list of countries is because the script was targeting chain-linking – the practice of linking successive words to their own article. I firmly believe that such bunched links do not encourage the reader to click through. Ordinarily, as an example of how the script works, it would unlink the 'Idaho' in '[[Boise, Idaho|Boise]], [[Idaho]]'; it will also unlink 'Zimbabwe' in [[Harare]], [[Zimbabwe]].

Where such sprawling horizontal lists exist in articles, I tend to unlink all the countries. I believe the case of retaining these links are weak; the fact that they are non-specific makes it worse. Whilst I still do not favour those chained links in your example, even in the context of the above article, better, more contextual linking could be had by replacing with links more focussed on the context, viz: Over the years, foreign exchange students have come from many countries, including [[Education in Brazil|Brazil]], [[Education in Germany|Germany]], [[Education in Montenegro|Montenegro]], [[Education in Saudi Arabia|Saudi Arabia]], [[Education in South Korea|South Korea]], [[Education in Spain|Spain]], and [[Education in Vietnam|Vietnam]]. • Agreed. conjunctions are usually avoided. I would just note that some country links, such as France, United Kingdom, United States and Australia are unlinked de facto as "common terms". Where these are clearly contextual and appropriate, I usually add them back. --Ohconfucius ^¡digame! 08:25, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
• I also just noticed that you thought my removal of superscripted ordinals was "overzealous". I was going by what the guideline suggests – superscripting is considered unnecessary.
