KOAM-TV Edits

Hi. This is in response to the edits I made on the KOAM-TV page. I made the edits as I work at the station and the information was not correct. Our newscast branding is not and has never been "KOAM News Now" that applies only to our website. On air, our idents include our channel number, but any spoken idents only reference "KOAM-TV" as our on-air branding. We have launched new logos as well, but I do not have them readily available.

I think some support on WSAV-TV? Is this a questionable edit? --2600:1700:4300:2C8F:1433:A9A0:9ACE:2C40 (talk) 13:20, 2 July 2021 (UTC)

WMGM-TV

Hi, can you please look at my question on the WMGM-TV talk page. I'm wondering if WMGM is still affiliated with the True Crime network since as you will see on the TCN Watch page WMGM-TV is no where to be found and no one has responded with a definitive answer. Thanks. YborCityJohn (talk) 00:45, 6 September 2021 (UTC)

KBYU-TV

You removed my edit on the KBYU-TV page, saying it seemed to lack neutrality. I was actually removing an unneutral term.

Wiki & Appropriate Labeling

1) Using "Mormon" to describe Latter-day Saints may be popular American slang, but wiki's own rules aim to avoid slang in this context, no?

2) Latter-day Saints prefer not to be called "Mormons" (see the url). https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/church/news/mormon-is-out-church-releases-statement-on-how-to-refer-to-the-organization?lang=eng

3) If Wiki's guidelines are to avoid calling Jews "Kikes" or other slurs/nicknames, then why not other people?

Term Accuracy:

4) The term "Mormon" is most often used on wiki to refer to several groups of people (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Restoration_branches).

5) KBYU-TV is operated by BYU, founded and maintained by the LDS Church.

6) The mission statements of BYU broadcasting, BYUtv, and KBYU-TV clearly identify Latter-day Saints, families, and communities as the target audience... "Mormons" isn't mentioned anywhere... which suggests that I'm being neutral while the author who put "Mormon" in, clearly wasn't. https://aims.byu.edu/ https://www.byutv.org/ https://mail.byubtraining.byu.edu/#:~:text=BYU%20Broadcasting%20aims%20to%20inform,of%20all%20backgrounds%20and%20faiths.

If my change is more accurate, equally neutral in jargon, and less insulting, what reason do you have to deny my request?

April 2021

Can you review a latest edit on WCIU-TV? LooneyTraceYT (Where it never goes out of stylecontribs) 22:11, 7 April 2021 (UTC)

@LooneyTraceYT: Looks OK; shows which subchannels are O&Os. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 22:13, 7 April 2021 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Fizz fam. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to WKRG-TV have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Fizz fam (talk) 01:39, 26 April 2021 (UTC)

@Fizz fam: This is not vandalism; I was trying to make the article easier to read. This is a good-faith edit. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 01:51, 26 April 2021 (UTC)

WBOC-TV

You seem to be hellbent on retaining outdated and confusingly verbose information. Please take a timeout, and let's see if someone else disagrees with my revisions.

@Bwave: You should talk to my friend @Sammi Brie:. Maybe she can help you out. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 03:43, 16 September 2021 (UTC)

Your latest revision on studio and facilities locations is incorrect and unnecessary to the articles. The stations do not share studios. WBOC-TV has studios in Salisbury, MD, with bureaus in Dover, DE & Milton, DE WRDE-TV has studios in Milton, DE WBOC-LD is licensed to Cambridge, MD and they don't have a newscast, but they do have a studio that they provide updates on other channels based out of Cambridge, MD WBOC-TV Transmitter is in Laurel, DE, but some of the other stations are in other cities (have to check the FCC Database, and it's midnight, i'm not going to clarify at the moment.

This is too much information and too confusing to put under the WBOC-TV article, and it's not all relevant to WBOC-TV, rather moreso the holding company.

This is why you shouldn't just arbitrary revert items just because you don't like that others change things. I have reached out to the user Sammi you suggested. Please take a break.
