July 2020 WRNN

  You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on WRNN-TV; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. BlueboyLINY (talk) 04:16, 1 July 2020 (UTC)

Refrain from Marking Articles for Deletion

@Scoty6776: Now I get the picture. I might have overreacted. My apologies, go ahead remove the AFD tags. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 20:24, 3 July 2020 (UTC)
@Mvcg66b3r: If you don't mind, please remove the ones you added. It would probably look better as opposed to appearing as if I am retaliating or something. Thank you kindly! Scoty6776 (talk)

Please include info in Edit Summary to describe your changes

Thank you for your editing. Please include info in Edit Summary to describe your changes. In several of your recent edits, you have not included ANY description of what your changes are. Scoty6776 (talk)

Infobox RfC

I'm proposing a redesign containing visual, technical and other improvements to {{Infobox radio station}} and {{Infobox broadcast}}. The discussion is located at Wikipedia:WikiProject Radio Stations/2020 infobox redesign proposal. As an editor active in editing radio and/or TV station articles, or in recent changes to the templates in question, I wanted to make you aware of this proposal and kindly ask for your feedback. Do better on your edits next time

On your KAZT-TV edit you reverted it even though they actually have a newscast called "Arizona Daily Mix" 173.235.187.4 (talk) 20:40, 5 July 2020 (UTC)

CBOFT-DT

Hi Mvcg, you don't have to revert, I have already cleanup the edits on the article CBOFT-DT was previously edited by blocked IP editor 173.178.209.121. The IP editor 173.178.209.121 has continously vandalize and disruptive edits on some television stations including CBOFT-DT until the IP user 173.178.209.121 is blocked for three months. I already cleaned up and remove some edits by the blocked IP editor 173.178.209.121 for my cleaned version with a little bit of your version. I am thanking you for editing assistance, I have already clean up and remove some edits by the blocked IP user 173.178.209.121 into the cleaned version on CBOFT-DT. I hope you will respond to me once you will continue editing. Anyways, I thank you and answer me back within around 24 hours. Once again, I thank you and have a great day. 2001:569:74D2:A800:C190:B18D:51E5:5D9 (talk) 08:17, 6 July 2020 (UTC)

KWQC-TV transmitter location

Hey there! My guess on the FCC query is that it may not have been updated in some time to show the changes, and I believe it's just the name of the tower as opposed to who's actually utilizing it. KWQC moved to their digital transmitter to Orion upon the switch to digital. FCC Data is run by what I believe to be a lobbyist for radio and television, and is updated daily using the latest projection maps from the feds. {{User:Alex jirgens}}

@Alex jirgens: But the Orion TX still has it on old channel 36 while Bettendorf is new channel 17. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 14:24, 9 July 2020 (UTC)

That's the strangest thing. I personally don't have time to make calls or emails on this, but the best way is probably give their engineering department a call. {{User:Alex jirgens}}

Jamie Simpson

Ah, I see....you’re another one of the know-it-all’s that live on Wikipedia without getting paid. Well, you know, I don’t make this my life. It’s not that serious. So, I will let you win the posting war.

Since he’s not “notable”, maybe that whole paragraph about Jamie Simpson needs to be removed from the article for WKEF. Stevebradley1 (talk) 09:06, 10 July 2020 (UTC)

WMCN-TV Edits

There is no way to site as since this is an infomercial channel they have no website. The best to give you is an image of the OTA feed. Also if you could change the chart too. Thanks. KLWY Edit

There is no source to cite. This was determined by actually living in the market and re-scanning for OTA channels. It's there, and removing it is a disservice to the page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.131.74.11 (talk) 04:07, 17 July 2020 (UTC)

KNPG-LD

I'm not sure why you reverted my edit to remove redundant templates. No explanation should be needed for an uncontroversial removal of templates that have been consolidated into one named Template:Missouri TV. I have removed all the separate templates and replaced them with Template:Missouri TV as that is where all the Missouri network templates redirect. KansasCityKSMO (talk) 01:03, 20 July 2020 (UTC)

KCRA-TV, KQCA, and KCPQ citing

Hello, since KCRA-TV, KQCA, and KCPQ were originally all owned by Kelly Broadcasting, I thought you made a mistake since all the three stations start with the ITU prefix "K" for radio, television and translator stations west of the Mississippi River. Also, however, the same is true for KTTV in Los Angeles when I added its slogan for its newscasts "Better Journalism", they started using it on-screen on its opening sequences since 2020. You can find it via this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9oqv34JUCE RVal02 (talk) 22:45, 23 July 2020 (UTC)

KCPQ is in Seattle, which is where I happen to be, so I know about it. And yes Seattle is west of the Mississippi. Gah4 (talk) 22:49, 23 July 2020 (UTC)

2nd Time WMCN-TV

Ok, First Time I didn't give you a source. Then But On Your Talk Page A Source With A Photo Of The OTA Feed FCC ID should be good. Didn't approve then what the heck why not? Then I edit it again to add the 3rd subchannel. I added a source I guess a video of the OTA Feed Doesn't work really? I am trying to put the right info on TV Channels In Philly Area I am giving you info I indicated That Shop LC moved to .1 so the .2 and .3 are free but you don't accept my changes it really frustrating I am going to give up trying to make Wikipedia A Good Place With Correct Info. Please Approve My Changes. It's Really Annoying What Sources Do You Need Please Respond Right Away to tell me my issue. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MapGuy11 (talkcontribs) 20:22, 26 July 2020 (UTC)

No need; I was just about to mention a rangeblock should be considered and a three-day has been applied to the range. Rollback and a rangeblock works much better. Nate (chatter) 21:40, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
