"Fallen Angel" is a Christian concept that originates from the "Sons of God" of Genesis 6:4. This has nothing to do with Islam. As for those rejecting him as being a jinni in canonical Islam, here is the verse from the Holy Qur'an, Surat al-Kahf (18:50) "And remember when We said unto the angels: Fall prostrate before Adam, and they fell prostrate, all save Iblis. He was of the Jinn, so he rebelled against his Lord’s command. Will ye choose him and his seed for your protecting friends instead of Me, when they are an enemy unto you?"
It is very clear here. Allah ordered all that were present in Jannah to bow in honor to Hazrat Adam. All the Malaikah bowed (they have no freewill) except for Iblis, for he was among the jinn. A jinni, that is one who, like humans, has freewill to disobey.

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Durupınar site, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. It's obvious pseudoarchaeology. - Salaam~~. Can you give a reason why it should be placed in the "pseudoarchaeology" category? If there be no good explanation, then let it be removed. - We're a secular encyclopedia. Thus we can't make our articles avoid offending people, religious or not. See WP:NOTCENSORED. Searches for Noah's Ark are called pseudoarchaeology. We have college fraternities who have things that are publicly known that they try to remove from their articles. We have images that are offensive to some people, not necessarily on religious grounds. We're also a mainstream encyclopedia. We label fringe as fringe. Doug Weller talk 09:11, 10 July 2020 (UTC)
