File:Papa Gates on.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Papa Gates on.jpg. Only problem is that this image also turns up on the guy in the photo's Myspace, here. Which gives us a problem, because we really like to be as sure as we can that if you say that you took this you really did take it. So did he use your picture there, or are you him, or are you trying to rip off his picture? There are other options out there. Unless you tell us different, probably we'll assume that you're not him and he's not using your pic, which will end up with us deleting this. Angus McLellan (Talk) 13:33, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL.
