Hello, Muedemum, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please complete the student training, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Women's studies, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Human sexuality

edit

Hello, Muedemum,
I reverted some edits made by Giltnerj regarding the sexuality of children in the Human sexuality article that seemed questionable. This topic is probably the most sensitive subject an editor can work on and many editors who have focused their work in this area have ended up having their account globally locked by WMF if they are seen as promoting a pro-child sexuality point of view.
I have asked Flyer22 Reborn, an editor who is probably the most experienced and professional on our articles on sexuality, to look over the contributions to see if I was jumping the gun in deleting this editor's contributions. I encourage you to advise your students to stay away from subjects that might trigger fears about pedophilia. WMF takes a hard line on this particular matter. Thank you. Liz Read! Muedemum, see what I stated about the matter at my talk page. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 23:00, 4 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Flyer22 Reborn, I left a comment on your talk page. Muedemum 12:52, 7 December 2015 (UTC)

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 13:01, 7 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi SineBot, I apologize! I thought that I was already signing my posts. I will try again here. Muedemum 06:05, 8 December 2015 (UTC)

It looks exactly like the other signatures I've left, so.... not sure if I'm doing something wrong. --Muedemum 06:05, 8 December 2015 (UTC)
