Re: Sitaram Ganesh Desai edit

Hi Msd1962! I would suggest adding more details about the newspaper sources instead of the simple "as reported in … on …" that you currently use. Since you have the clippings you probably have information such as the author, article title, and so on, which you should insert if possible. See for instance the example below (in which I have used a citation template, although that isn't necessary):

{{cite news|last=Wolford|first=Ben|date=17 October 2013|title=Citrus Canker Lawsuit Headed Back to Trial|newspaper=Sun Sentinel|location=Fort Lauderdale, Florida|publisher=South Florida Sun-Sentinel|accessdate=1 September 2014}}
which procudes:
Wolford, Ben (17 October 2013). "Citrus Canker Lawsuit Headed Back to Trial". Sun Sentinel. Fort Lauderdale, Florida: South Florida Sun-Sentinel. {{cite news}}: |access-date= requires |url= (help)

It would also be good to add such information to the bare URLs which are currently being used for some of the references (you can use the {{cite web}} template for that if you wish).

Additionally you might want to read this short paragraph of the citing sources guideline, as it concerns the use of offline sources: Wikipedia:Citing sources#Indicating availability. Cheers, benzband (talk) 15:00, 1 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi Benzband... Thanks for your suggestions...I really appreciate that... However, I have one small problem as those News Paper Reports does not have names of any Reporter but just says our Reporter...as they are really old ones..1952, 1962 & 1969...I will be happy to email them to you and take your suggestions...

Thanks... Msd1962 (talk) 15:36, 1 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

If there isn't all the details then of course just include whatever available information there is. As for the reports, rather than emailing them maybe you could upload them to the internet (for instance using imgur) and then post the links on the article's talkpage if you wanted; but it isn't necessary. benzband (talk) 07:24, 4 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:Sitaram Ganesh Desai edit

Hello, Msd1962. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Sitaram Ganesh Desai".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Sitaram Ganesh Desai}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 14:00, 24 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
