Hello Mscprm, thanks for improving articles about communes in France! One small remark: when you copy an infobox from French wikipedia, please follow the guidelines at Template:Infobox French commune/doc#How to copy an infobox from French wikipedia. See for instance my edit to the infobox in the Campan article. Happy editing! Markussep Talk 07:20, 3 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the tip Markussep, your example was a lot easier to learn from than the guidelines! Mscprm (talk) 20:04, 3 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
One more tip: the fields "arrondissement" and "canton" are supposed to link to the arrondissement resp. canton the commune is part of, not the capital of that arrondissement resp. canton. You can achieve that by either giving the link (all arrondissements have articles) or giving the unlinked short name, like I did here. Markussep Talk 14:10, 7 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thanks again - sorry, didn't realise arrondissements had articles; I have a bad habit of jumping in and learning as I go along, so apologies if you've had to clear up any messes after me! I'm amazed that so much energy has been put into creating articles on France, very welcome though it is to a francophile like me. Mscprm (talk) 16:22, 21 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
