Tracker Task Force edit

Birman edit

Hello,

I made some additions and changes on the Birman Page and put some references too.

Thank you for your assessment.

Dr. Lescart, thank you for going over the article. I have not edited on Wikipedia for about a year, so I will need to brush up on everything Wikipedia-related before I tackle the tremendous amount of work you put into the Birman page. I appreciate you letting me know. I will also try to edit some of the article as time allows. – Ms. Sarita Confer 01:10, 12 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Maine Coon edit

Why, thank you for your kind comments Ms Sarita ! It's not a picture I "found" incidentally, it's a picture of my cat which I took in my back garden. I was a little nervous about adding it as there seems to be have been quite a dispute over the addition of pictures of people's own cats, but I did think that the article was a little "brown tabby heavy" !

I agree with your recent comments on the talk page and will add a line to that effect. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Barry Wom (talkcontribs) 15:21, 4 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Well, your cat is absolutely beyond stunning! I'm almost jealous! The dispute within the article, as you have noticed, has more to do with quality of photos and relation to content than anything else. The photo you provided, as I said, is a perfect example that the Maine Coon can come in a variety of colors and is of excellent quality. Thank you for your support in this matter. I truly appreciate your efforts. Happy editing. – Ms. Sarita Confer 05:43, 5 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the message regarding "looking after" the Maine Coon page in your absence, but as we both know my monitoring of the page isn't entirely selfless !

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Possible removal of AWB access due to inactivity edit

Hello! There is currently a request for approval of a bot to manage the AutoWikiBrowser CheckPage by removing inactive users, among other tasks. You are being contacted because you may qualify as an inactive user of AWB. First, if you have any input on the proposed bot task, please feel free to comment at the BRFA. Should the bot task be approved, your access to AWB may be uncontroversially removed if you do not resume editing within a week's time. This is purely for routine maintenance of the CheckPage, and is not indicative of wrongdoing on your part. You will be able regain access at any time by simply requesting it at WP:PERM/AWB. Thank you! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 23:36, 8 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
