Bermuda Triangle page edit

Thanks for the kind remarks about mine and other's efforts to make the Bermuda Triangle page better. Just to let you know, I did not place the "factual accuracy" banner at the top of the page; I don't know exactly what it means. Does it mean it needs official sources? Does it mean it does not agree with the assessment that the Triangle is mainly fictional? I went from the standpoint that both sides should be explained, that each statement can and should have a source of some kind which supports its position, so I do have to disagree with the placement of the banner. But I did create a disclaimer for the banner on the talk page, as indicated by the banner.

The other part is there have been several attempts of a juvenile nature to alter the page, so I'm seeking some sort of lock to prevent that. Anyway, the page as a whole is much better overall than what it was three weeks ago, and I hope the researcher can take advantage of it. Carajou 00:40, 4 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Currently, what I am doing is re-writing the current articles involving the Triangle. This is to remove some of the juvenile or amateurish writing that is already present, or to include more-detailed, factual info. From the Triangle main page I have went into the following pages and re-worked about 65% of USS Cyclops; 85% of Flight 19; 100% of Marine Sulphur Queen; 100% of V.A. Fogg (but it could use more info); 85% of Star Tiger and Star Ariel (this involved merging both articles). The ultimate goal is to have a good, sound category that anyone can be comfortable with in researching. Any help I could get, as far as writing, finding sources, would be appreciated. Orphaned non-free image (Image:PSP Web Browser.png) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:PSP Web Browser.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 06:27, 21 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Vanguard bandits cover.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Vanguard bandits cover.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Project FMF (talk) 23:36, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
