Hi Bon Courage!

Glad to hear from you. I am curious to know as to reasons behind excluding the sections on the SY page? In sum, they contribute to knowledge about the topic in manner that is both complementary of wikipedia's guidelines as well as regulations, while contextualising a page that is otherwise skewed in an orientalist and xenopohobic light. Encyclopedic knowledge should be embrace all forms, as long as they show stringent adherence to the rule of law. I ask you to reconsider your authoritative air of editing. I am well aware of the conventions and rules applicable to wikipedia articles, as the scientific section stringently followed and fulfilled all requirements of academic integrity with reference to well established journals (mind one which wikipedia considers predatory but the wider academic arena does not). Therefore, seeing that you have paid little to no interest in the actual content of the scientific section, I deem that your edits are far from neutral, but rather malicious. Moi mitä kuuluu!!

So glad to hear from another Scott-Finn :) I, for one, would have called myself ScottishFinnishPalsternakka if I had any sense of creativity ;)

I can see where such assumptions may be drawn, but to elucidate on the topic, I simply have an avid interest in spirituality, be it Sahaj Yoga, Advaita Vedanta, Sufism, Samkhya Philosophy, Jung, Hinduism, Nath Panth etc...I have collected a wide range of resources regarding this topic, including some of the submission made onto wikimedia, too. I am affiliated to a University in the Netherlands, and from general interest have sought to bring to light the research conducted on SYM in a much broader context as this is what one of my recent literature reviews was focused on (see first edit in about November or so...) The previous iteration of the page was, due to lack of better terminology, a paskakasa, and I was surprised something so far from reality could be in Wikipedia. Some users are strongly vindictive in this regard, much like a perään ammuttu karhu, but I do hope reason may prevail in subsequent iterations of the page.

To whom it may concern, I am glad that we have such alert Wikipedians in the community as Bon courage, and would like to take a short moment to explain my intention. As can be seen in the logs about Sahaja Yoga, the page is prone to bouts of edit wars that have left it rather emaciated in terms of content. I, for one, wished to provide a more substantive and source-based contribution that is not based on a point of view, but a plurality of views. However, seeing that there has been a strong backlash against pages on New Religious Movements, due to their possibility of peddling paranoia and pseudoscience, out of fear I, as a new user, adopted a method that was completely wrong. For, if I truly had confidence in what I contributed, I would have followed the bold-revert-discuss cycle, and not feared the confrontation that it would create. It was plain immaturity on my behalf. I still stand behind the intention that my contributions would, in the long term, not only serve to give a more comprehensive account of Sahaja Yoga, but also other spiritual-religious movements I am interested in, lending multpile views to create an overall, robust NPOV. I look forward to meeting Bon Courage's comments and edits, knowing that his experience and understanding help to refine, not undermine my contributions to wikipedia. A fruitful exchange can only create lasting change. Thank you for your attention firefly, and thank you Bon courage for your alertness! I am ready to have a proper dialogue, and am keen to understand the do's and dont's of wiki.
