thanks, that was quick edit

I knew the base had to be messed up, being even closer than the Sendai airport to the shore, I had hoped they had time to fly the jets out before the wave hit (doubtful) but I saw the first film tonight even though there are no labels or sound the planes are very recognizable. Hopefully someone more qualified can add as news becomes available.

I had been looking for any followup film on Miyako that provided the awful scenes of large fishing boats being ground over the tide wall at the bridge and over the sea wall along the road. Truck and car drivers were realizing they needed to turn around, but probably got caught by the tide when the water breached the sea wall along the river. Even thought that was one of the most shown pieces of film - no later photos, film or news has mentioned Miyagi or showh if the raised bridge withstood the storm of houses and ships.

Don't know that anyone's ever described my work as "manly" before :) Thanks! Grutness...wha? 07:56, 14 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Manliness Award edit

Thanks but...I've no idea why you gave me that 'award'.

I notice you've given awards to many users; maybe you should slow down on that; Wikipedia isn't myspace.

Can you please help us to improve some articles, instead of just giving out awards? Thanks.  Chzz  ►  08:01, 14 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

another thing...you seem to focus on everything is "manly". so females can't edit wikipedia and do great contributions too?Bread Ninja (talk) 08:03, 14 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the award! I feel so ... manly ... now! I think I'll sit and scratch my chest for a while. Petter Bøckman (talk) 08:18, 14 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

You surprised me, a womanly woman, what did you give me that award for? Please answer here, for the others with a similar question, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:26, 14 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Well Done! edit

Are you running an automated script for the "Well Done!"? IQinn (talk) 08:06, 14 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Reason? edit

As noted above, you've given out a lot of these awards. Why exactly did I receive one? What did I do that it's a reward for? SilverserenC 08:16, 14 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Well, thanks then. I just wanted to make sure you weren't just handing these out at random. :3 SilverserenC 08:20, 14 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Random? Why no, your were carefully selected among 74 other contestants from the Special:Recentchanges page. Congratulation!AerobicFox (talk) 08:27, 14 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
