USS Omaha

Thanks for that. However, as a ship index - and not a normal disambiguation page - it has its own set of style guidelines. --Grahamdubya (talk) 15:11, 17 February 2012 (UTC)

  • Gotcha, yes, those do need to be realigned. Thanks for taking the time to start the discussion about it. --Grahamdubya (talk) 15:22, 17 February 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for May 22

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Neil D. Van Sickle, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Army Air Corps (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Wikipedia:DELETIONIST listed at Redirects for discussion

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Wikipedia:DELETIONIST. Since you had some involvement with the Wikipedia:DELETIONIST redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion (if you have not already done so). Disambiguation link fixing one-day contest

I have decided to put on a mini-contest within the November 2013 monthly disambiguation contest, on Saturday, November 23 (UTC). I will personally give a $20 Amazon.com gift card to the disambiguator who fixes the most links on that server-day (see the project page for details on scoring points). Since we are not geared up to do an automated count for that day, at 00:00, 23 November 2013 (UTC) (which is 7:00 PM on November 22, EST), I'll take a screenshot of the project page leaderboard. I will presume that anyone who is not already listed on the leaderboard has precisely nine edits. At 01:00, 24 November 2013 (UTC) (8:00 PM on November 23, EST), I'll take a screenshot of the leaderboard at that time (the extra hour is to give the board time to update), and I will determine from that who our winner is. I will credit links fixed by turning a WP:DABCONCEPT page into an article, but you'll have to let me know me that you did so. Here's to a fun contest. Note that according to the Daily Disambig, we currently have under 256,000 disambiguation links to be fixed. If everyone in the disambiguation link fixers category were to fix 500 links, we would have them all done - so aim high! Cheers! bd2412 T 03:03, 18 November 2013 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:2009FinalFour.gif

Thanks for uploading File:2009FinalFour.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Corkythehornetfan(talk) 03:52, 22 March 2014 (UTC)

The file is no longer in use as it was replaced by File:2009 NCAA Men's Final Four logo.png, so deletion is fine. — MrDolomite • Talk 02:43, 23 March 2014 (UTC)

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

Hello, MrDolomite. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)

Suggestion: remove your common.css from error category

Hi MrDolomite, a suggestion for you: put a colon (:) after the [[ on your common.css. Otherwise [[Category:CS1 errors: dates]] renders as an actual category, so that page will appear in the category itself. = paul2520 17:51, 19 March 2017 (UTC)

Thanks! I copied that in from somewhere long ago and far away and missed that. — MrDolomite • Talk 23:42, 19 March 2017 (UTC)
