Placing a redirect works, but there could be quite some confusion if someone else registered with that name. To avoid problems, I recommend you register that account too, so no one else can register it. WP:NJSCR newsletter 4

The New Jersey State and County Route Newsletter Issue 4 – June 15, 2007

Issue #4 After a three-month hiatus, the fourth issue of the WP:NJSCR newsletter is out, by me, Mitchazenia. The foruth issue of the WP:NJSCR newsletter celebrates the passing of New Jersey Route 18 for Good Article Status. 18 is only the third NJ-based road to reach that rank with Interstate 295 (Delaware-New Jersey) and Pulaski Skyway being the other 2.

Project News A to-do list has been posted on the project page, with a more detailed version at WT:NJSCR#To-do list. The simple version: Ensure that all freeway exit lists are up to exit list guide standards. Make sure all infoboxes have the new maint= parameter. Make sure the straight line diagram is properly referenced in the infobox. Add a major intersections table to each article.

Member of the Month The member of the month is Vishwin60. He has written a new article called U.S. Route 322 in New Jersey and helped assess NJSCR articles.

PASH newsletter - Issue 001

The Pennsylvania State Highways Newsletter Issue 1 – June 16, 2007

Issue #1 The first issue of the WP:PASH newsletter recognizes all of the good articles the project has produced.

Project News After State Route 1002 (Lehigh County, Pennsylvania) was selected as the project featured article for June, it was listed as a Good Article. Thanks to everyone who helped the article. SR 1002 is the first quadrant route to reach GA status and the sixth article from PASH, with Interstate 95 in Pennsylvania, Schuylkill Expressway, Interstate 476, Pennsylvania Route 39, and Pennsylvania Route 145 being the other five. Interstate 476 is undergoing a peer review, a future featured article candidate. Feedback and ideas to improve the article are needed. Nominations for next month's featured article are needed. To-do list See User:Myselfalso/PA Routes for the status of PA Routes 1 to 100. Create articles for all routes and expand existing articles.

Featured Member The featured member of the month is Vishwin60. He has been an important member of the project for a long time and has writen the Pennsylvania Route 31 article. Thank you Vishwin, for helping out WP:PASH.

The New Jersey State and County Route Newsletter Issue 5 – August 25, 2007

Issue #5 After a two-month hiatus, the fifth issue of the WP:NJSCR newsletter is out, by me, Mitchazenia.

Project News The wikiproject has been inactive since June! Please try to start working on their articles again. New Jersey Route 33 was passed for GA-class on June 17, two days after the prior issue was released. 33 is only the third NJ-based road to reach that rank with Interstate 295 (Delaware-New Jersey) and Pulaski Skyway being the other 2. New Jersey Route 18 was demoted to B-class on June 27 due to unfixed errors. A to-do list has been posted on the project page, with a more detailed version at WT:NJSCR#To-do list. USRD Inactivity check and news report

Hello, Mr. Matté. We had a few urgent matters to communicate to you:

1. Please update your information at Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. Roads/Participants, our new centralized participant list. Those who have not done so by October 20th will be removed.
2. There are important discussions taking place at WT:USRD relating to whether WP:USRD, WP:HWY, or the state projects should hold the "power" in the roads projects.

On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. The New Jersey State and County Route Newsletter Issue 6 – October 1, 2007

Issue #6 The 6th edition of the WP:NJSCR newsletter. This one will hopefully start a monthly streak of newsletters.

Project News Many articles are starting to reach Start and B-class. New Jersey Route 55, New Jersey Route 47, New Jersey Route 74 all got upgraded to B-class. County Route 622 (Middlesex County, New Jersey) failed its 3rd Good Article nomination due to unreliable sources and other conditions. We currently now have over 10 B-class articles. New Jersey Route 75 has reached Start-class. A to-do list has been posted on the project page, with a more detailed version at WT:NJSCR#To-do list. The simple version: Ensure that all freeway exit lists are up to exit list guide standards. Make sure all infoboxes have the new maint= parameter. Web browser

Hi. I noticed at Wikipedia:Village pump (technical)/Archive 136#Problems with images that you had some problems with viewing PNG and SVG images. While disabling some of the JavaScript will work, you will get better results by upgrading your browser. I recommend Firefox, which is a relatively small free download. Firefox will load web pages faster than Internet Explorer and does not have the problems with images that you ran into earlier. It will take about half an hour to download if you are using dial-up. Firefox will import all of your Favorites from Internet Explorer, allowing you to make the switch easily.

Turnpike Exit Userbox

Hey I stumbled upon your page and noticed the Turnkpike Exit Userbox. I was wondering if you can point me in the direction of where you found that? I thought that was really cool.

I created it myself, using WP:UBX as a guide. For the record, you don't necessarily have to have the Turnpike; for example, you can put in the second slot [[Interstate 280 (New Jersey)|I-280]] and "I-280" will show up.
