Curt Mega edit

His name is not mentioned in the movies' articles on imdb, and movies are not listed in his imdb page. Therefore you will need to find a reliable source to prove that he is even in the movies, let alone the lead in those movies. Please see WP:BLP. Biographies of living people must be sourced to reliable sources. The Mark of the Beast (talk) 17:39, 20 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello Mozartchic01! I noticed that you got very concerned when I didn't respond to your concerns about the page on Curt Mega immediately. Please remember that Wikipedia editors, including myself, are volunteers and may not respond to your comments as quickly as you may like - or even at all, sometimes. (See WP:VOLUNTEER for more of what I'm talking about]]. I hope the rest of your editing here goes well. §everal⇒|Times 19:09, 20 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Replaceable fair use File:Curtmegarelease.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Curtmegarelease.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please remove the tag.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 00:25, 21 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

File:Personalcurt.png edit

Can you explain how you are the copyright holder of File:Personalcurt.png? The Mark of the Beast (talk) 02:44, 21 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

I just finished fixing the permissions issue. I apologize as I am new at this. Mr. Mega holds the copyright and has given me permission to use it. Mozartchic01 (talk) 02:59, 21 October 2011 (UTC)Mozartchic01Reply

Delayed response edit

Mozartchic01, I wrote a rather lengthy response to your request for assistance on my talk page a couple of days ago. (It was going to be there or on the Glee task force talk page.) I hope you're not too disappointed by your initial encounter with Wikipedia, and that we'll see you again in the near future, perhaps in the Glee articles.

Best regards, BlueMoonset (talk) 03:48, 26 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Curt Mega edit

I don't think that is sufficient to meet the WP:MUSIC notability guideline, without which it would be redeleted. However I have userfied the article to User:Mozartchic01/Curt Mega so that you can work on it if you think you can improve it to meet the notability guideline. Speedy deletion nomination of Curtis Lawrence Mega edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Curtis Lawrence Mega, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Bgwhite (talk) 04:39, 16 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

references edit

You have been told above, but let me restate... Make sure the references actually say what is being sourced. Please do not add any twitter, youtube, blogs or other video material. The references need to be in reliable 3rd party sources. Bgwhite (talk) 07:09, 16 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:Andrew Steinmann headshot.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Andrew Steinmann headshot.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 10:11, 26 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:Curt Mega live.jpg edit

The file File:Curt Mega live.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Uploaded for Curt Mega. No other use.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 00:15, 30 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
