Hi Brookie here; I followed up on the above as you suggested on a vfd vote and have now tagged it vfd. :) A curate's egg 6 July 2005 06:48 (UTC)

Copyediting edit

Does this really belong in the copyediting category? (edit) I am sorry i did not sign. i do not think your user page belongs in the copyedit category. Bigbadbyte July 6, 2005 04:46 (UTC)

Does what really belong in the copyediting category? If you don't tell me, I won't know.
Also, can you please remember to sign your comments on other people's talk pages using --~~~~ (or the signature button at the top of the edit page), as it saves other users' time, is generally the accepted format for Wikipedia, and, if you notice, is mentioned in the template another Wikipedian has placed at the top of your talk page. --me_and 5 July 2005 21:44 (UTC)
What the original guy probably meant was that your User page is listed unter Category:Wikipedia articles needing copy edit (among others) because you included the templates for your own reference. That's a bit confusing. --Moritz 5 July 2005 23:25 (UTC)
Ahh. Sorry, I didn't realise it did that. I've removed them. --me_and 6 July 2005 08:29 (UTC)

Computer security audit edit

Thanks for your guidance. I have lots more to do with content, presentation, style, etc. and think I am making some progress, as my time permits AlMac 8 July 2005 11:57 (UTC)

Babbling edit

It was fun, and partly to make a point. Now it just adds pretty colors to my user page.  :-) Tomer TALK 16:46, July 10, 2005 (UTC)

Medal edit

Here's your medal: The Polish Barnstar for Admirable Restraint. Keep up the good work restraining yourself. :-)

No fair. Tomer TALK 05:22, July 12, 2005 (UTC)
Well, he asked nicely. I think I recall the word "freaking" used somewhere.... :-) HKT 06:07, 12 July 2005 (UTC)Reply
Uninterestingly, you've joined Witkacy's reincarnation of the Polish Wikipedians' Blacklist for your efforts. [1] Tomer TALK 06:09, July 12, 2005 (UTC)
Ha! It was a manner of speech, but thanks for the medal! And thanks for your level-headed support on the respective pages - that obviously goes for you, too, Tomer. Hope the next one I get is for useful contributions instead of for not shouting at other people. :) --Moritz 09:13, 12 July 2005 (UTC)Reply
Moritz, as much as I agree that you showed restraint, I hope you understand that HKT gave you this particular barnstar only to ridicule Polish people. Would you mind if I changed it for the national one?

--SylwiaS 14:35, 12 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

-sigh- If it's any sort of issue, do whatever you like, exchange it, remove it, it doesn't matter. I'm not here to offend anyone. I guess I'll steer clear of (at least other) articles in this context, people are just too emtionally charged. --Moritz 14:56, 12 July 2005 (UTC)Reply
-even a deeper sigh- Yes, I think you are right. I even don’t know, what the aside discussion on the voting page was about. I simply don’t want a personal disagreement to grow to a rang of national issue.

So, here’s a National Barnstar from HKT for Admirable Restraint and from me for Objectiveness and Common Sense :)

Still no presents for me.  :-( Tomer TALK 16:32, July 12, 2005 (UTC)

My user page edit

Ha! The first time my user page has been vandalized! What a touching moment (sniff). Thanks for catching it, HKT 04:32, 15 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

Moritz, Thanks for the feedback about It's All Gone Pete Tong, and thanks for cleaning it up. It appears you and I share the same birth year, and by looking at your page, I've discovered you can customize user pages. So, again, thanks. JurgenHadley 22:00, 28 September 2005 (UTC)JurgenHadleyReply
