Hi and welcome! To create user subpages, they need to be called, for example, User:Moongurl101/Moongurl's Awards, not just Moongurl's Awards. I'll move the ones you've just created. NawlinWiki 14:42, 25 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:Pedi-jump.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Pedi-jump.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Please cool it with the photos edit

I have now reverted three different articles where you inserted horse photos that have copyright problems and, frankly, are more "artsy" than illustrative of the articles where you placed them. I am sure you mean well, but wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not an art gallery. While there is no problem with adding photos to articles which have few or no photos (If you can find an image of a Vladimir Heavy Draft, for example, or a better image of a Dutch Warmblood, we will love you!), please be more careful about replacing images in well-illustrated existing articles, especially when the existing images are of decent quality. If you find terrific photos that you'd like to add, I suggest posting them on an article's talk page instead of just deleting other people's contributions. Please also check wikipedia commons for free-use images before uploading images with questionable copyrights. Montanabw 19:49, 29 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
