Disclaimer edit

I am sometimes not on here very often, as this is merely a hobby of mine, so please don't take offence if I take a while to respond! Moon Nectar (talk) 21:14, 31 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy tagging edit

Hi. After you put a speedy tag on an article, you should copy to the author's talk page the warning which appears on the warning template on the article, which looks something like {{subst:nn-warn|The 12 Year Old Show|header=1}} ~~~~. Also, please have a careful read of WP:CSD - the criteria are quite narrowly defined, and if you don't use a correct one your speeedy will get declined by an admin. For instance, on Jaspa's jouney just now, you put some version of db-a7, which specifically does not apply to books: "A7 applies only to articles about web content and to articles about people and organizations themselves, not to articles about their books, albums, software and so on." In this case, the article was so promotional that db-spam was appropriate, I changed it to that and I see the article is gone. But generally, if it's just a non-notable book, you have to use a PROD. Keep up the good work, though; New Page Patrol needs all the help it can get. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 20:51, 31 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
