User Page edit

I believe one of your headings should read "My Interests" and not, "By Interests", or am I wrong?Gagueci 18:02, 25 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for noticing that. You are correct ini that. I'll fix it now. Monkey Brain 21:43, 25 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks edit

Haha, your welcome. You know, I do have to "vandalize" once in a while. :) QuizQuick 02:31, 26 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Say, how come you have a userbox that says you don't like pastel colours?

Notice the whole list of colors that I like(every color), and don't like(every color). lol, I thought it was a funny thing to have, sometimes randomness is activity is a neat feature to life. Monkey Brain(talk) 02:35, 26 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Zeusophobia edit

No such disease. It is a joke. There are plenty of bogus phobias in the 'net. Unless you provide a reputable reference, they have no place in wikipedia, see wikipedia:Verifiability and wikipedia:Wikipedia is not a dictionary. `'mikka (t) 05:40, 26 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Unsigned edit

Hi Monkeykiss,

I noticed you using the {{unsigned}} template on one of your own comments. In general, the unsigned template is intended for clarifying another user's comment on a talk page, when its one of your own comments that you have just forgotten to sign, its as easy to just copy in your own signature and timestamp as a followup edit. Also when using the {unsigned} template to sign another newbie user's comment, its a good idea to use the substitution form .... {{subst:unsigned|someuser|sometimestamp}} .... so that the template becomes permanently substituted. -- Solipsist 21:30, 27 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

coo! I was just in a hurrying at school. Thanks for the info. Monkey Brain(talk) 01:36, 28 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Buddha - God or Man edit

Hi. I was a bit perturbed by this decision; I didn't make it easily. I counted 4 votes 'keep' out of 17 total votes. If it had been 4 out of 16 (ie 75% in favour of deletion) I would have deleted.

I thought it better to keep and let someone nominate it again, rather than make a controversial delete. Wikipedia:Deletion_guidelines_for_administrators says 'When in doubt, don't delete' in bold. - Richardcavell 01:25, 1 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

calm down on atheist talk. edit

Please refrain from starting a new topic about a user (see here), this is a bit uncivil. I have not accused you of anything, and have been polite in every way. I did not state lies about you, I simply reminded you that the "invisible comments" could be construed as vandalizing (see here); you were starting a debate in the actual article. The debate in question has already been resolved, there was no need to extenuate it. Additionally I was not being uncivil, stating my view is not uncivil, but rather how you state it, again this has already been resolved. Somerset219 23:14, 2 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
