Page ownership edit

In this edit you started the edit summery with "do not edit". While it would be quite unusual for one editor to edit another's sandbox except by request, our ownership policy is clear. You do not own or control any page on Wikipedia, and other editors may always edit any page if there is good reason to do so. That said, in any normal circumstance an editor's sandbox is left alone unless the editor asks for assistance, or the page contains something completely against the rules for any page, such as a copyright violation, an attack page, or an advertisement. April 2017 edit

  Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Afraid are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of User:Monkey88888888/sandbox edit

A tag has been placed on User:Monkey88888888/sandbox, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Please, enough edit

Wikipedia is an academic reference work, not a social network, website host or online scratchpad service. User sandboxes are intended for the use of people to test edits they intend to make to improve Wikipedia's content, not for goofing around like this or like the enormous galleries I've recently deleted from your userspace. If you want to contribute to Wikipedia you're very welcome to stay and we're glad to help you, but please stop trying to use us to host material that's completely inappropriate for us. If you're looking for a wiki-based service that will allow you to host your own writings, I'd suggest Wikia. ‑ Iridescent 17:51, 7 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Iridescent: I've speedied their sandbox as WP:NOTWEBHOST again. Gestrid (talk) 01:03, 14 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
Nevermind, they blanked the page, so I withdrew the speedy deletion request. Gestrid (talk) 01:09, 14 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
And they attempted to put up {{db-u1}}, so I fixed it for them. Gestrid (talk) 01:13, 14 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Contested deletion edit

This page should not be speedily deleted because... (I'm joining wikia again) --Monkey88888888 (talk) 01:08, 14 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
