Welcome! edit

Hello, Mjt74, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

File:KLAP 2018 Childrens Uni.jpg edit

Hello, I saw that you uploaded an image to Wikimedia Commons and marked it as your own work, however a search produced evidence that it was previously published elsewhere first by another person. With images, always make sure that you are careful to attribute the image to its creator by providing the creator's name and a link to the site from which you took the image. Also review the image to ensure that it was released under a form of copyright that would be compatible with Wikimedia Commons - if the image lacked this information, always assume that the image cannot be uploaded due to a restrictive copyright. I would like for you to review the training module on uploading images and media, thanks. If you have any questions, please let me know. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 22:28, 6 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

  • I still don't see where you've fixed the copyright on this. Please be aware that this can lead to the image getting deleted if it's not fixed! Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:50, 12 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
