Welcome!

edit

Hello, MissAndrea, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Citation help

edit

There's a link that says "(help)" next to the error message. It usually can tell you what you did wrong. In this case, you filled in both "page" and "pages" - for example, you have "|page=199|pages=200|". A reference can either be on a single page (if so, use "page") or it can be a range of pages (in that case, you'd use "pages"). Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 15:14, 13 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Sandboxes

edit

There are a number of ways to find someone's sandbox. See this response on Ask.wikiedu.org. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 15:37, 30 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
