Capitalisation

edit

I notice that a large proportion of your edits consists of capitalising nouns, and adding Wikilinks for common terms. Please note that both of these practices are unnecessary, and against Wikipedia's style guide, and should be avoided. Please read these guidelines before you continue editing; repeated inappropriate editing could lead to sanctions against your account. RolandR (talk) 17:10, 11 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

June 2019

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Vladimir Lenin, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please stop adding unnecessary capitals. This is disruptive, and if you continue it could result in loss of your editing privileges. RolandR (talk) 19:15, 14 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

July 2019

edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Aftermath of World War II, you may be blocked from editing. As already explained by RolandR, adding unnecessary capital letters is disruptive and amounts to vandalism. Hrodvarsson (talk) 04:51, 30 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Olubunmi Ayodeji Adetumbi, from its old location at User:Mir koks/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. -Liancetalk/contribs 03:13, 18 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Mirrors

edit

Thanks for contributing to the article University of Lagos. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. Ogun state moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Ogun state, is too short and does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Proposed deletion of Rebecca Adewumi

edit

The article Rebecca Adewumi has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Lacks sufficient notability per WP:BIO1E and WP:NOTNEWS

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
