June 2023 edit

Hello, I'm Arjayay. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the main body of Harry Redknapp. Generally, any relevant external links should be listed in an "External links" section at the end of the article and meet the external links guidelines. Links within the body of an article should be internal Wikilinks. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 21:21, 22 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Paul White, Baron Hanningfield. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 21:28, 22 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did at Ben Thatcher, you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. - Arjayay (talk) 21:30, 22 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Minthammer. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Paul White, Baron Hanningfield, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 19:14, 23 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Before undoing the last edits did you actually check for accuracy? Please do so. Minthammer (talk) 19:07, 26 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

This has been reported the edit was accurate and will be remade. Minthammer (talk) 08:21, 4 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Doughty Street Chambers
You have been warned about COI editing, but appear to be continuing along the same lines. - Arjayay (talk) 20:43, 4 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

You don't know what you are talking about. Why don't you actually conduct some research before making stupid comments? Why don't you actually see if the people I removed are actually members of Doughty Street Chambers. You will find they are not. The version you have reinstated is INACCURATE. You are making Wikipedia INACCURATE. You are the vandal. Minthammer (talk) 10:37, 8 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
For example, Louis Blom-Cooper is actually dead. So funnily enough no longer a member of Doughty Street Chambers. I expect you to apologise and reinstate my changes please. Minthammer (talk) 11:52, 8 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
