Commons images edit
Hi. Before copying images like Image:Rajko mitic.jpg to Commons, please make sure that they pass the duck test and aren't pretty flagrant copyright violations. If a user uploads an image, claims it as their own, and it is of a high resolution and from a digital camera, then we have a good faith expectation that they are, in fact, the author. But if the image is web resolution or obviously taken a long time ago, then we need to investigate it, not ship it off to Commons and make it somebody else's problem. This user has uploaded four images, all tagged with {{PD-self}} and the other three are obviously not his own work (two of them are magazine photos which can be used under a claim of fair use so I have retagged them). --B (talk) 15:03, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
