Autopatrolled edit

Hi Miller Henry, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled right to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the patroller right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! AdmrBoltz 16:30, 28 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

In addition, this newly-created account does not have any user-rights beyond that of a logged-in editor. See //en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:ListUsers&limit=1&username=Miller+Henry for confirmation. Speedy deletion nomination of Asif Ali Laghari edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Asif Ali Laghari requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Hqb (talk) 18:22, 31 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Auto patrolled ? edit

Why is this page suggesting that you have autopatrolled rights, when you don't?
Secondly, the Admin who 'gave' it to you has never edited this page? - 220 of Borg 18:32, 31 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

it is, and the page about which I'm giving reliable sources is the notable one. I've also uploaded photo of that person under desired licence. Do check page before deleting it. Thanks Miller Henry (talk) 18:41, 31 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • Your comment here makes little sense. Few people are notable at 22 years of age. I suggest you read Notability. - 220 of Borg 18:51, 31 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • "..I've also uploaded photo of that person ...". Is interesting, seeing as the page here says it was done by Nechilson (talk · contribs) over an hour after your above statement. Is there another photo of Laghari somewhere on WP or wp:Commons?
Hello, Miller Henry. You have new messages at Hqb's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

Asif Ali Laghari edit

I have read your comments on User:Hqbs talkpage about this 'Asif Ali Laghari' biography page (BLP) you created. You say he is "famous about his theory on Einstein". Could you explain what his 'theory' is?

Do you know or are you in fact Asif Ali Laghari? If so you may have a wp:Conflict of interest (COI). As for writing about yourself, see wp: Autobiography. A lot of people think they are notable, but are not. We have schoolchildren and lots of other non-notable persons trying to put their 'biographies' on Wikipedia, which is why I am doubtful about this persons notability.

You have also not answered my earlier question on this page about falsely claiming autopatrolled rights. You also claim to have been on WP for "2 years, 10 months and 25 days.", while in fact "First edit: Mar 31, 2014 17:11:54" according to the WP edit counter. Your first edit was "17:11, 31 March 2014", which means as of me writing this message, you have active for about 9 hours.

Please explain. I assume good faith, but if some answers are not forthcoming I may have to make enquiries at the wp: Administrators' noticeboard/incidents. (WP:AN/I) - 220 of Borg 02:08, 1 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

I am not Asif Ali Laghari, you can delete the page if it doesn't satisfy the Wikipedia guidelines. I'm an editor and found the person notable to write decent article, see according to the Wikipedia's notability guideline for academic, "The person's research has made significant impact in their scholarly discipline, broadly construed, as demonstrated by independent reliable sources", and I think the Thomas ISI indexed research journals with good impact factor shows reliability of person's research work. Sources provided in the article are enough to identify the such notability. Miller Henry (talk) 10:31, 1 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

I have modified your user page edit

To prevent your user page from unintentionally deceiving other editors, I modified User:Miller Henry to change the date you created your account from sometime in 2011 to March 31, 2014. I also removed the "autopatrolled" indicator template. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 03:36, 1 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Asif Ali Laghari edit

Hello Davidwr, you placed AfD tag on Asif Ali Laghari. The discussion has been closed here and the article has been modified. Can you please remove AfD tag from page now ? Miller Henry (talk) 17:23, 1 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

  • While any editor in good standing acting in good faith can start an AFD discussion, generally only a Wikipedia administrator can close an AFD discussion. AFD discussions typically stay open for 1 week to allow the issues to be resolved and/or for a consensus to keep or delete the article to become clear. In some cases, an administrator will extend the discussion for a second or even a third week to allow time for a consensus to form. If the discussion closes as "keep" or "no consensus", the closing administrator will remove the AFD template from the article. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 18:01, 1 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
(edit conflict) The discussion has NOT been closed. Modified? Do you mean adding a meaningless self published Google-plus source and the link to a university website that makes no mention of anyone named Asif Ali Leghari? See here - 220 of Borg 18:10, 1 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

See 220 of Borg, if you look at article history in laghari's papers here and here, you will find his university and department information and I just added corresponding university web link to the article. see also Miller Henry (talk) 04:26, 2 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

At least it mentions him and the university, but I don't know if that is a reliable source. Not sure what web link you mean, a link to the University web page is useless as a reference and I removed such a link from the page. I even searched the University site for this Laghari, and found no mention of him.220 of Borg 08:39, 2 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

This is research journal publication web link who published his papers. Miller Henry (talk) 08:50, 2 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

davidwr Nobody informed me about sockpuppet why? As I have already told many of you if there is anything wrong in Asif Ali Laghari page I created, you can simply delete it without blaming me as an sockpuppet of princeneil whom I even didn't know before. I would never had created the article on Laghari's bio If I had known about the previous similar page created by many banned users. It could be coincidence ! I am not experienced at all, but you should Investigate situation carefully before any SPI.Miller Henry (talk) 06:02, 4 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Admin please Help my account edit

Hello admin, Rschen7754 has blocked my account due to creation of Asif Ali Laghari page that was created by some blocked SP users before me I guess. I didn't know about that user. I neutrally created article Asif Ali Laghari in neutral tone without any wp:Conflict of interest I told many times to editors. see discussion here and please resolve problem as soon as possible. I am not asking for that page, I am worried about for my account Miller Henry (talk) 08:31, 4 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

It was confirmed at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Princeneil/Archive#03 April 2014 that this account is yet another Princeneil sockpuppet; but you can appeal the block by placing {{unblock | reason=your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of this talk page, replacing "your reason here" with the reason why you should be unblocked; you should read the Wikipedia:Guide to appealing blocks first. This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

The reason is same as mentioned before on my talk page. "Hello admin, Rschen7754 has blocked my account due to creation of Asif Ali Laghari page that was created by some blocked SP users before me I guess. I didn't know about that user. I neutrally created article Asif Ali Laghari in neutral tone without any wp:Conflict of interest I told many times to editors. see discussion here and please resolve problem as soon as possible. Decline reason:

As this is a checkuser confirmed sock, editing in the same fringe topics in the same ways, you'll need more than a "gee, I dunno" to have this block lifted. Kuru (talk) 12:17, 4 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Listen Kuru I have already told many of you that I am not SP of any user. You can delete the page I created if anything is wrong with it. Why are you blaming me as Sock of princeneil that is not actually so! I came to know about SPI of princeneil and the pages created by those socks when I created the same page mistakenly(without knowing that the page I am creating had already been created by banned user in the past). Why don't you understand my situation.? I don't need Asif Ali Laghari page at all if there is anything wrong in it. If you want to close deletion discussion on Asif Ali Laghari, do it or delete it. I am not taking side of any page/person. I am pure Wikipedian. Please Investigate problem carefully before declining my unblock request. Miller Henry (talk) 12:33, 4 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Checkuser verified abuser of multiple accounts. PS: I did investigate carefully; double-checking the checkuser findings was quite straightforward. --jpgordon::==( o ) 14:51, 4 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
