License tagging for Image:Metropolis-Guarenasd.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Metropolis-Guarenasd.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --OrphanBot (talk) 17:08, 20 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Nicolás Maduro edit

I can see your frustration is building up. If you are reverted, do not make the same edit again, but start a discussion on the talk page. Please try to resolve the issue and reach a consensus. Thanks — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 13:34, 3 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

For future information - protection requests are handled at WP:RFPP. Although in this instance the article is already semi-protected which is probably sufficient if you stop edit-warring! — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 13:35, 3 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Migmontano: can the Nicolas Maduro's article be changed reflecting we really do not know where Maduro was born? He's said many times he was born in Caracas. However, he has not shown his birth certificate. He jokes at times that he was born in Kenia like Obama, but at least Obama showed his birth certificate, even if people later questioned it and said it was falsified (that's another topic). The article on president Barack Obama in wikipedia mentions his parent's name and where they were born. It would be fair and informative for wikipedia users to know about his parent's. This article http://www.caraotadigital.net/?p=135598&fb_source=message lists the things some of the facts that have been publicly documented about his family. I was wondering if this could serve as a reference. Articles 51 and 143 of the Venezuelan's Constitution gives the right to its citizen receive a prompt and expedited response to information requested. Therefore, if people have asked for the birth certificate and Maduro not providing it, it's a violation to the Venezuelan's Constitution. It is required by the Venezuelan's constitution to be born in Venezuela without another citizenship to be able to be the president of Venezuela (articles 41, 227). As far as we know from the investigation a team has researched, Maduro's mother was born in Colombia, this makes him Colombian too, meaning he has dual citizenship. Maduro has not presented his birth certificate or a paper explaining he renounced to his Colombian citizenship. A case was presented to the Supreme Court (TSJ) in Venezuela by congressman Walter Marquez requesting him to proof he was born in Venezuela. Can the article be changed to include this doubt? There are several videos from respected media news that discuss the topic. This is a very important issue nationally and internationally because of the violation to the constitution and having someone usurping the position of the Presidency. I wanted to discuss this issue on a Talk page before trying to edit the article and having it deleted or labeled vandalism. Please advice. Request reason:

These files are NOT copyrighted, this block is unnecessary and it is not being reviewed by a human, bots are very inefficient ascertaining the validity of these claims. The bot also removed from the original page a number of free images that were already hosted on Wikipedia. Migmontano (talk) 21:42, 18 January 2021 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Looking at just one of the images you added, File:Britishpassport UK4.png. I see clearly that the image is marked as crown copyright, despite your claim to the contrary. If you believe the file was not copyrighted, the responsibility was yours to demonstrate this. Otherwise, you needed to comply with WP:FAIRUSE, which you blatantly did not.
