Tut Tut

Silver Fang is here. So this game of cat and mouse continues huh?

Broly the LSS (Alex) is playing the rebellious vandal picking random articles and vandalising them. He also worships ol' Brocolli head like a frickin' god. He also fancies Pan.

Then there's MightyKombat (Joe) trying to earn himself a Wikipedia medal by tracing all of Alex's vandalisms and reverting them. He also bears a name claiming to be mighty but in truth is not so mighty at all. He also squeels like a mouse.

So it's a game of cops and robbers, with Wikipedia as the battlefield, and I'm just a simple spectator. It looks like the challenge is on, it's all down to how long it will take before Alex gets banned.

PS: For those who read this not named MightyKombat or Brolly, these two users go to my school.

Hello Sonic Shadow Silver, AKA Alex. I wonder how long it'll be until your whole server gets banned permanently.

PS: Joe, nice work with the Bison image on the game over page. How do you add images on here then?

The Bison image was easy. When I right-clicked on the thing in question, rather than copy and paste it to paint, I saved it directly into my pictures folder by clicking "Save to my pictures" then I uploaded it.

Silver Fang: Nay, that's not what I meant. I know how to upload images, I just don't know how to put them into articles. How do you do this?

And what's with the Pax Bisonica and the Playstation thing? Have you begun worshipping Bison the way Alex worships Broly?

I got Mugen

Hey MK. I've got Mugen. However, I can't add my downloaded character. I downloaded Ryu off a site, but I can't add him into the game. I followed the intructions given on the readmes, but seeing how it isn't working there obviously isn't something it's telling me regarding the codes. Seeing how you do know (I've heard you talking about it so don't make up excuses), can you tell me what's wrong with my code? I basically copied the default one for the kung fu dude, but with Ryu's name instead, but it isn't doing anything.

I'd also appreciate if you told me how to create my own characters on it if you know. See you.

well here's some pointers.

1. If he's in a folder, make sure it has EXACTLY the same name as the .DEF file. If he aint, make one and name it after the DEF file EXACTLY

2.Right-Click on the folder's name, click RENAME but don't ename it, right click it again if the renaming box appears and select copy,. Then open the document named "SELECT" its in the data file, go to the roster where it says KFM, press enter to add a new line and and right-click and select PASTE

3. Click on File and Save. Best keep the slect doc up.

Ok then, I have uploaded the winrar file. What the heck do I do now?

So you have the WINRAR program right? If you do, make sure you still have the RYU.RAR file.Doubleclick RYU and choose to open it with WINRAR. When the file manager appears, Highlight the file by clicking the mouse inside the Manager but not on the file, drag the mouse over the file(s) and click EXRACT. Then extract to the Character folder.

If hes already in a folder, then just do the same thing to get him on there like you did with Ryu.

Good to see you're online. Anyway, I managed to get Morrigan in it, so I know how to get people from the Mugen Guild site into my game. However, I got Kahn from random select. In the select notepad file, what do I have to input onto the list in order to get Shao Kahn? (I've tried Shao Kahn, ShaoKahn and ShaoKahnMO (name of folder) and neither of them work)

Ahh, now this I can do. Is the folder called ShaoKahnMO? If so, the DEF file within the folder should be call ShaoKahnMO as well. The DEF file must have the exact same name as the folder. Now try it.

Seriously, you're really outshining me on this. So unless a readme specifies otherwise (like Ryu) I just name it what the folder is called?

And this should be the last question: Whenever I have Kahn in a fight, there's loads of text on the middle of the screen. Is there any way to get rid of it?

Yeah it works. I renamed Kung Fu Man "Mugen".

I've now got 8 characters (will create last two), and each one has their own stage. Shao Kahn is also the final boss.

Just wanted to clear things up MK. So I copy the whole system notepad file into a select file in the big folder? You don't mind typing up the instructions for me do you? It'd be much easier for me to follow.

1./ Go to your DATA folder and open teh directory called BIG.

2. Right Click the document file labeled SELECT and choose COPY

Edit summaries

Maybe I'm the only one who feels this way about edit summaries, but I think you need to tone yours down just a little bit. I mean, all caps, saying fuck/fucking/etc, and three exclamation points is just taking it a bit too far. You miss my point. We don't need incivilty on this site; that's something that causes problems. If someone's vandalizing, you give them a warning. Calm down, you're blowing this way out of proportion. A block is not a punishment, as said above; it is merely a way of stopping people from doing wrong here and help them learn a lesson. Acting incivil, writing personal attacks, and blowing your top is not saving Wikipedia, much as you must hate to hear it. Lastly, civilty helps keeps peace throughout the site. Neither of you is banned. He was blocked for 24 hours and you got 48 because this is the first time he has been blocked, and your block log shows that you have been blocked before. I blocked based merely on the WP:3RR violation, without any reference to who might be the 'bad guy.' Regarding SF4 Bison and Vega

I had an idea of that when I saw it was gonna take place BEFORE SF3. From here on out I still refer to it simply as "Street Fighter 2 3D".

No need for all caps, which gives the impression you're shouting or otherwise being abrasive. A simple "revert - original research" or "reverting, speculation" is more than sufficient.
