Dear Michaelgossett:

I saw your message asking for help with the Hoot Hester article. I am willing to help improve the article, but I have two things to ask:

(1) Please give me permission to delete the page on which you put the help notice, because it is in an area strictly for article-to-be, not help requests. You might post a request instead at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Country Music.

(2) I am going to change some of the text because right now it is too similar to what is on Hoot's web site, and this is a violation of the copyright laws. You can change some of it yourself; just make it your own words. Please do not change it back, because otherwise the article will end up being deleted.

By all means you have my permission to delete anything you want. I am not much of a writer and that article needs a lot of help. I went to the same High School as he did and have always admired his talent. Anyway have fun and do not wait for my approval for any sort of rewrite. I am extremely easy to get along with but I do not own a computer. I accept your conditions and am very happy that you have shown interest. I will help out if I can. Before you put too much more work into it, please make sure that you find some independent reviews, news reports, magazine articles, etc., to add to the article. With all of those big names in the band, it shouldn't be too hard to find, but the article won't be accepted without them.
