Speedy deletion of Last Chance Garage edit

A tag has been placed on Last Chance Garage, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD a7.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Postoak 02:49, 11 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hey, Postoak...I still have a grudge for what you did to MY entry for "Last Chance Garage"...I tried to contest ths CfD that you erroneously slapped on it, but you really sped up the deletion faster(some say "in retaliation")...please reinstate this at once!...Michaela92399 (talk) 02:49, 3 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Chad Allen edit

Regarding your edits to Chad Allen (actor), you need to provide a source for any information you provide in an article that is not easily verifiable. Thanks. — TAnthonyTalk 03:36, 14 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I assume you are an "expert" on Chad Allen and his career and life(probably a neighbor or former publicist), or else you wouldn't keep "cleaning up" my edits...FYI, "Chad" is usually slang for "Charles" or "Charlie", hence the still-unsuccessful edits(and deletions)...I just now saw your background, and GOOD GRIEF!...and I thought I was a "couch potato"?...I'm SHOCKED!...Michaela92399 (talk) 02:48, 31 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm not an expert, I'm just detail-oriented, and making an assumption without any source — like "Chad is usually slang for Charles" — is just sloppy. But I honestly didn't mean to offend you, or "bite" you as they say here; it's the responsibility of more experienced editors to help out newer ones, and I myself learn from others regularly. Not sure what you mean by my background, maybe my level of participation here? Regardless, you shouldn't take constructive criticism personally, just as you shouldn't get defensive and make uncivil insinuations. — TAnthonyTalk 04:35, 31 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Erik Per Sullivan edit

Hi, Erik Per Sullivan has no "official" site currently. Regards Tjpeople (talk) 17:44, 9 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

I know...I just found out the hard way...but until recently, he HAD one...maybe his parents took it down?...who knows...oh, and BTW, I always thought that he hyphenated his first name, but now he doesn't do that anymore?...hmmmmm...Michaela92399 (talk)

There was "Erik's Empire" http://www.eriks-empire.com/ - its now closed down. But it wasn't official. There was also erikpersullivaninfo.com (something like that) but thats gone and was also not official. He hasn't ever had an official site. Well definitely not in the last 2 or so years any ways.Tjpeople (talk) 13:58, 12 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
