  • "The National Coalition of Blacks for Reparations in America (N'COBRA) is an organization based out of Washington, DC that seeks financial compensation for the descendants of former slaves in the United States."--what kind of organization is this? State whether its nonprofit, etc.
  • "undisclosed amount and say that further study needs to be done to find the exact amount, "--What do you mean by "exact"? What is the amount based on? How is it being calculated?
  • "These reparations can take many forms. Including, land, economic development, and other monetary resources."--make this one sentence, adding a comma after "forms"
  • Change all "US" to "U.S."
  • "for the purpose of spreading information and making support of the long-term goal"--delete "making" and writing "supporting"
  • "Founders of N’COBRA include National Conference of Black Lawyers, the New Afrikan Peoples Organization, and the Republic of New Afrika"--link all of these organizations
  • Either delete the section "legal action" or add to it, since it is blank
  • "In 2001, N'COBRA supported H.R.40, entitled Commission to Study Reparation Proposals for African-Americans Act"--explain what this is
  • "Leadership" would make more sense to go directly after "Founding" and before "Supporters"
  • Great intro paragraph. With just a few minor edits (mentioned above) it will be a sufficient summary
  • It was a great idea to add a list of supports with links. The same goes for the list of people under "Legislation"
  • Maybe you could add more about what this organization has accomplished and if they have received any backlash or upsets

After reading through the article you really have made some great additions. The initial intorduction of the National Coalition of Blacks for Reparations in America did not seem sufficient enough and you did a great job at adding more to it. Maybe you could also add a couple more citations from different sources to strengthen your article there. One thing I do think you should definitely add to the article are recent accomplishments of the organization or some examples of things they have been able to get done since its inception. This will add more detail and insight into the capabilities of the organization. Great job! Mattmorton (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 16:00, 9 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Overall, great work on this article so far!

1) As mentioned in your previous peer reviews, I like what you did to the "Founding" section. The citation holds more weight when explained after it is linked within the page. The only thing I would change is the wording of the first sentence. "NCOBRA was founded...for the purpose of (mobilizing resources?) and (garnering support for?) the long term goal of gaining reparations for African Americans. In my opinion that would flow better for readers of the article.

2) "Leadership" should be moved and placed right under the "Founding" section. "Legal Action" section is empty, as I am sure you know, just make sure to add to it or delete entirely to maintain the page's format.

3) In the "Legislation" section, each co-sponser's name is prefaced with "Rep." Are all of these co-sponsors *Republican* representatives, or just representatives in general. Very minor issue, but still could be confusing to some readers. For example, it could create a false bias that this bill was only supported by Republican congressmen and women.

4) I really liked Mr. Morton's idea of following up on the organizations progress to keep readers updates, and I encourage you to try drafting up a small section on this topic. Below is a small article from the organization's web page about a Congressman from Michigan, John Coyers who recently held a press briefing on the subject. He is mentioned previously in the article as a supporter of the initial NCOBRA bill, so this could be a good place to start. [1]

Again, great job on these initial edits and keep up the good work! Csamc (talk) 17:22, 9 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

I think your edits to this article were quite good. I especially liked how you added to sections to the article including "founding," "leadership," "board of directors" and so on. The infobox edits were pretty nice as well. I do agree, however, with some of the other reviewers that say you should look for some information in a source other than the organization's website. Overall, your contributions were quite good and the article looks much more complete now. Mbfrancisco1 (talk) 19:07, 9 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
