Navigable bridges edit

Why use that term, when the term Aqueduct is more usually used?

I suggest that you hold of any more categorisation until consensus is reached Mayalld 16:33, 14 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

I think that a consensus for a fork between navigable and un-navigabe aqueducts is emerging, however, I think that there is some discussion to be had as to how we structure it! Given that just about all the UK examples are navigable aquesducts, we probably want a UK sub-cat, rather than just putting them straight into the main category. I also feel quite strongly that the name should be navigation aqueducts, rather than navigable aqueducts, in order to encompass those aqueducts that were built for boats, but are no longer navigable. Can we hold off creating categories here (that we will probably end up deleting again!) for a few days. I'll work up a proposed category tree by tuesday.
