This is Giovanni Di Stefano son aged 27. What a prick you are. There are none so blind as those who cannot see and you certainly can see no further than your own backside. Get a life. I agree with Mr Rafique. You are not even a millionth of my father and spend your time gossiping and spreading useless rumour without foundation like a fishmonger wife from the fens but then you are from there. Stick with your bogs because that is where your thoughts on decent people belong. Get a life if you can find one. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Barlinnie-rooftops.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Barlinnie-rooftops.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 02:36, 12 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Whoops, image deletion edit

Hey Max, what's up. Listen, I messed up, I deleted Image:Chico Mendes.jpg (which you uploaded in '06), without first giving you a week's notice, which I was supposed to. The reason for deletion was that it was replaceable fair use, an image of someone that there's a free image for (hence the blue link above, the free image exists on commons). So it's up to you: If you'd rather have the week, I can undelete it, but it's extremely likely that it'll just get deleted again after the week, so I sort of hate to undelete it just to have it get deleted again. But like I say, it's up to you. Sorry for the error, I'm really quite embarrassed about it. Peace, delldot talk 11:47, 9 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Mistachuck.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Mistachuck.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 19:44, 2 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Removal of content edit

Please don't remove reliably sourced relevant material from Wikipedia articles, as you did to Anarchism. Thanks, скоморохъ 16:13, 23 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

I did not understand the comment you left on my talkpage until I checked the history, as the above is the only comment I have added to this account's user talk page. Please be very clear on this point: are you responsible for the two edits to Wikipedia from IP address 86.22.72.84? скоморохъ 18:03, 26 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
I left this warning on [User_talk:86.22.72.84 this IP talkpage] after the IP vandalized User:Operation Spooner's userpage calling them an "ASSHEAD", a clear violation of Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Repeated vandalism and personal attacks may result in a block by administrators (I am not one). Are you responsible for the vandalism? If not, then your comment on my page is extremely confused. If so, you certainly deserved the warning. скоморохъ 18:31, 26 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
I've responded to your comment on my takpage out of respect for your wishes. I won't post anything else on this matter here. Regards, скоморохъ 23:31, 26 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your revert on left anarchism edit

Yo, I proposed stubbing the left anarchism page - because it was totally uncited apart from Heider's book - on the talkpage on February 5th and asked for editors thoughts on the matter. No-one responded since so I went ahead with it. Would you mind discussing your thoughts on what constructive changes we should make to the article on the talkpage? I have absolutely no desire to edit-war. Regards, скоморохъ 02:20, 27 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Left anarchism edit

Hey there Max, is there any way you'd be willing to take this to the article's talk pages instead of wholesale reverting editor's legitimate actions (that is, removal of material that is uncited, and has been tagged as OR for some time}? Hope you're well, Murderbike (talk) 03:42, 27 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Meh, I didn't notice Skomorokh's comment, sorry for the redundancy. Murderbike (talk) 03:42, 27 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Duh! maxrspct ping me 15:00, 27 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your actions on left anarchism are quickly becoming disruptive. You baselessly accuse multiple editors of sockpuppetry, slap an AFD tag on the article, don't bother to list it correctly or even make a comment on the AfD I submitted for you in good faith, then come along and blank half the article making it incomprehensible to readers; I am trying to give you the benefit of the doubt but this behaviour is hard to interpret as anything other than trolling. скоморохъ 16:52, 8 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Blank AfD templates edit

You've been told that putting a blank AfD template on an article doesn't work. Nothing happens, except that you create work for others cleaning up after you. Your response: to put yet another blank AfD template on the article on the article.

All you have to do, if you won't complete the d*mn process because "you have a life", is tell someone, somewhere (like the talk page) what your reasons are and someone clearing the orphan AfD backlog will do it for you. It really couldn't be simpler.

So, a warning: if you disrupt Wikipedia again by putting an AfD template on an article and giving no decent reasons why the community should discuss deleting that article, you will be blocked from editing to prevent you from doing it again. ➔ REDVEЯS knows how Joan of Arc felt 15:30, 3 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Neanderthal extinction hypotheses edit

Hiya, You reverted my edit on the anthropogenically caused extinction hypothesis that although inadequately footnoted was adequately referenced. The article as a whole is highly speculative and needs a very good edit as there is much more highly speculative and entirely un referenced stuff below my addition (that I too would would like to edit out). I do not wish to offend, but, rather than possibly trolling and removing what I considered a quality new addition to the article consider doing some real work there instead as it needs it. (N.B. my user name when logged in is "Mattjs" but I rarely log in and maintain my own pages any more.) Looking forward to your response - or I will be back to reinsert a properly footnoted and less wordy version - here below or probably on my user (IP address pages). As you appear to be an intelligent and avid reader may I recommend the two popular works I referenced in my addition before you revert again, Regards 122.148.173.37 (talk) 04:27, 28 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Questions/responses about Your Thoughts on Wikipedia edit

I had occasion to read over your user page, and some of the things you've written inspire a few questions, perhaps a few friendly debate openers:

"* Wikipedia needs a sovereign, legislative 'general council' composed of ALL editors (of more than 4 months standing?) rather than a elite steering committee or 'Arbcom'. The council would be a decision-making body and a deliberative assembly. It would be a conduit for important working groups temporary and permanent, would be able to change Wikipedia's policies when necessary and also be a place for appeals or petitions (more in the general sense of the word)."

Have you considered the idea that, given the vast number of Wikipedia users, this would result in a ramped-up version of the problem typical of large committees: nothing ever really gets done, and what gets done gets done slowly because discussion takes forever and goes back-and-forth-and-back-and-foth and everyone feels the need to get their two cents in even if what they have to say is irrelevant, incorrect, or already been stated? That's the beauty of having a very small committee, or one head person in charge...things get done, and they get done efficiently and quickly.
I disagree and i think you you have missed an essential part - that "It would be a conduit for important working groups temporary and permanent" - which basically means the council would not be some kind of monolithic, centralized talking shop. Direct democracy and deliberation works and I personally have working experience of them that leaves me very positive. maxrspct ping me 16:12, 9 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

"* Jimbo Wales needs to give up all excess ownership and control."

Why?
Reply - because he has more control than anyone - unneccessary, is unfair and largely unaccountable. maxrspct ping me 16:12, 9 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

"* Wikipedia should be recognized for being the democratic, international organization that it is or needs to be."

Have you forgotten that this is an encyclopedia? Not a nation?
I am fully aware that it is not a nation. You should not conflate democracy with the nation-state. maxrspct ping me 16:12, 9 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
