Estimado Góngora. Sé que al igual que yo sos uruguayo, por lo tanto te respondo en español. Bien sabemos que Uruguay se encuentra dividido administrativamente en Departamentos y no en Provincias, eso es así tanto en idioma español como en inglés. Renaming areas of Montevideo

Hi MauriManya, I moved Cuidad Vieja, Carrasco and Prado to their correct naming as per naming conventions, and bypassed redirects in the "what links here" links and in the general template. However, I don't understand why you suggest to rename Pocitos to Pocitos (Montevideo) and Tres Cruces to Tres Cruces (Montevideo), since there are no existing articles with the same name (yet), so it is not according to naming conventions to specify. Also I am not sure how to go about Central Montevideo to Centro (Montevideo). (I understand Spanish well enough, by the way, though I'm not good in using it yet). List of largest empires

Hi there. We're having a content dispute at the article above - the list of empires has a large 216 entries, and currently the article sees fit to repeat this list 6 times! Clearly a waste of storage and bandwidth. A better solution (saving at least 30% and making it much easier to read and use) would be a table with a column for each attribute, sortable, as used in many other articles (see the discussion). However, a silent editor keeps reverting attempts to clean up the article, without explanation. Please see the discussion (currently nobody disagrees). Imperio Mongol

¿Por qué revertisgte me corrección sobre el tamaño del imperio mongol? La fuente decía claramente que eran 24 millones de km cuadrados, no 33. Si no tenés buenos argumentos no toques nada. Saludos.

I think you are misguided. Maybe the source has two different sizes, but it´s obvious that the real size is 24, no 33. I´ve checked other sources in google books and the numbers are much closer to 24 than to 33 million square km. Besides, just take a look and compare the mongol with the russian empire or the soviet union. You´ll see the are roughly of the same size.--Knight1993 (talk) 19:34, 27 February 2011 (UTC)

Spanish wikipedia

Hi MauriManya, I saw that Manuel Esmoris also added it to the Spanish Wiki, so I notified Góngora to keep a watch. I see you had a whole edit war going on yesterday. You see, "Manuel Esmoris" is the writer of the PDF text, but he is a begginer in Wikipedia and does not know anything about policies. The template I know Template:Uw-copyright does not have a Spanish page and my Spanish is not good enough to write the proper explanations and warning by myself. So I am not sure what procedure is best there. I suggest you contact an active admin there, if he continues. Meanwhile, please keep in mind this [1]. Saludos. SADR "Spanish" language

Spanish is not an official language of the SADR. The SADR constitution specifies Arabic as the sole official language of the country. Countries with multiple capitals

Hi there, the Netherlands only has one capital: Amsterdam. Where the seat of government is located is utterly irrelevant; and indeed the own interpretation linking one of the possible (American) English interpretations of the term capital onto the Dutch case. This is synthesis a form of original research, which has no place on Wikipedia. Unless you can provide a reliable source that explicitly mentions the Dutch case as a country with two capitals do not re-add it. Thanks Arnoutf (talk) 17:20, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

Help with a reference

Hi MauriManya, do you think we can find a reference for this: "An abandoned hotel by the beach (of Pajas Blancas), the Viejo Hotel, used to host important events, including the festivities for of the Selección Uruguaya when they won the football cup in 1930." This information I was told by a local person in Pajas Blancas, but I have very little knowledge on how to find any reference for it. Old sports articles maybe? Thanks. Hi MauriManya, as you see I have turned all links to point to Pérez Castellanos now. In all the inmobiliaria of Montevideo I find it as Pérez, but the only official mention I have ever found has it as Castro [2]. Is there any non-spam link you could help me with? Truth is I haven't looked into this new CCZ# system of Montevideo yet. Such alphanumerical names seem to deprive a place from any local identity, but as long as they are there I guess we have to bring them in here too. Anyway the link you sent is fine, thanks again. Reversed changes

Hello. I saw you edited Uruguayan Primera División's Wikipedia page. I revert your changes and I will explain why. I did it first because Wikipedia states that must appear on all possible versions of a information, and not that a user creates to be true. Also, for example, that number (49) is not only the championships won by Peñarol, but also to those earned by CURCC and other tournaments outside AUF.

This point has already been discussed many times in the Spanish Wikipedia and this result was reached. Data titles are clarified below in the article. Malietoa Tanumafili II

He was not a king. Samoa had non-hereditatry tribal chiefs which cannot be equated with royals or kings in the Western world and were more ceremonial than monarchal. His title Malietoa had no more importance than a handful of other high chiefly lines in Samoa. After Samoa's independence the Malietoa and the Tupua Tamasese were appointed co-head of state for life with the titles of O le Ao o le Malo. Tupua Tamasese Meaʻole died before Malietoa Tanumafili II.
