Editing notes edit

Thanks for your helpful edits (I watch the Christ Church page). Your changes on the image captions make them much clearer, and I agree that the Oxford experience link isn't ChCh specific and does indeed read like cloying advertising. I notice that in of your edits you've changed "[[escheat]]ed" to "[[escheat|escheated]]". I'm not sure why, as the former is shorter, easier to read when editing (in my view) and they are both translated in the same way. That is, escheated is the same as escheated. In case you haven't seen it, there's a handy Cheatsheet. Klbrain (talk) 07:57, 22 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hey there Klbrain! Thanks for your message. I ought to watch the page too; I'd like to improve it, as I'm a current student. As for my change: my apologies, I used to edit Wikipedia as an IP a little while ago and I vaguely (wrongly, probably) recalled that partial word links didn't work. Either it's been changed since then or I'm remembering wrongly. I'll edit it back. Matthew Benson (talk) 22:40, 22 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
I'm also at the House (cough) (college lecturer, Pharmacology), hence my interest in the page. I don't think that there are enough people with an academic background interested in editing on Wikipedia, so I hope you can find time to continue editing! I use it as something of a hobby.
