Speedy deletion nomination of Administrator request edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Administrator request requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Noiratsi (talk) 13:40, 6 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Welcome! edit

Hi, MaswiJoy, welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like it here. Unfortunately there was a problem with one of your recent contributions. I've tagged the article you made at Administrator request for speedy deletion because it's not appropriate to ask questions or chat in articles. We use talk pages for questions and comments about the encyclopedia. Requests for adminship take place at WP:RFA. If you're serious about wanting to be an admin, I'd suggest you spend at least a few months getting to know how the site works before you even consider going any further. Thanks, and again welcome! --Noiratsi (talk) 13:44, 6 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

January 2013 edit

Hello, I'm Dodger67. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added to the page Kagiso, because it seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Your recent edits edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   or   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 08:00, 13 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Kagiso edit

Hi MaswiJoy, regarding your request to add the Spidersweb Kagiso link to the Kagiso page, please note that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and not a forum for promoting projects you're involved in. Repeatedly adding the same link, and ignoring Wikipedia policies will get you blocked. Please read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and Wikipedia:Promotion. You are welcome to add useful, referenced content to the Kagiso article, but only for the purposes of improving the article. Greenman (talk) 20:18, 13 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Kagiso, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Roger (talk) 15:30, 15 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
