Lewisham mayor by-election results

Hello. Thanks for adding the by-election results. I am just curious to know where you found the results. I couldn't see them on the London Borough of Lewisham election results webpage when I checked just now. AtomisedPlatform (talk) 04:16, 8 March 2024 (UTC)

Hi there, I got them from this Twitter/X thread posted by the Lewisham Council Twitter/X account. I'm generally fairly cautious about using Twitter/X (or similar) as a source, so before using those numbers, I checked the account was verified and linked on their website. I then calculated the percentages using their numbers and checked my calculations against those done by media at the event.

The results have now been posted on their website: https://lewisham.gov.uk/mayorandcouncil/elections/results/mayoral-by-election-results-2024

Apologies for not making it clear where the numbers came from, my only excuse is that I was very tired! (Oh, and please do let me know if I should have waited for the results to be posted on their website.) MasterBenedict774 (talk) 15:33, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
