Untagged images edit

Hi, thanks for the images you've been uploading, but images should be tagged to help Wikipedia adhere to copyright laws and identify free material for use. Unfree images may be deleted in the future. See Wikipedia:Image_copyright_tags for details. TheCoffee 9 July 2005 18:13 (UTC)

Image deletion warning edit

Image:Palawan.png has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion because it is a suspected copyright violation. If you feel that this image should not be deleted, please go there to voice your opinion. Please see the copyright policy at Wikipedia:Copyright. TheCoffee 07:22, 10 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

Image:Batarazamap.jpg and Image:Batarazamap.png are also up for deletion, as they're apparently copyright violations lifted from http://elgu2.ncc.gov.ph/bataraza/image/batarazamap.jpg TheCoffee 07:52, 10 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

I found Image:Palb744.png here, and Image:Pala343.jpg here, and Image:Paldc8.png here, and Image:Pala322.jpg here. Sorry, these are copyrighted images and they have to go. TheCoffee

Copyright Problems edit

It has been suggested that Image:Pala343.jpg is a copyrighted image and therefore not available for use on Wikipedia. Can you please confirm that it is available under our Image use policy before reinsterting it into any articles? We appreciate your help with this; if you have any questions about our policies, please feel free to ask. -- Essjay · Talk 15:03, July 10, 2005 (UTC)

Image:Imelda.png is another untagged image. Ask me if you need help tagging. A list of all your images is available here. Superm401 | Talk 08:48, 25 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem with Image:Mapua logo.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Mapua logo.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. BRossow 01:23, 17 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia needs you edit

Hi, Marvzlorenzo. You have helped with a number of articles in the past, but you haven't edited any articles in a while. Could you make some new contributions soon to help make Wikipedia better?

  • Check out your watchlist or your prior contributions to help you find articles that need work.

I hope you decide to become a more active contributor again. Feel free to drop me a line on my talk page. -- ForteTuba 05:13, 25 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Untagged image edit

An image you uploaded, Image:Bataraza.jpg, was tagged with the {{coatofarms}} copyright tag. This tag was deleted because it does not actually specify the copyright status of the image. The image may need a more accurate copyright tag, or it may need to be deleted. If the image portrays a seal or emblem, it should be tagged as {{seal}}. If you have any questions, ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. -- 16:57, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Cebupacific.png) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Cebupacific.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Image source problem with Image:Airphil.png edit

Image Copyright problem

This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:Airphil.png. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 15:04, 7 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. Fair use rationale for Image:Asianspirit.png edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Asianspirit.png. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 09:48, 21 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
