Mistaken identity, I'm afraid. It was user:207.74.23.59 who added the {[tl|expand}} tab. Looking at the article, though, a guess would be that it has a goodly list of her published works, but virtually nothing about her - it needs more biographical information - even if only a year and place of birth and place of education. Grutness...wha? 04:59, 28 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Halibutt's RfA

edit

Thanks. WikiThanks.
I would like to express my thanks to all the people who took part in my (failed) RfA voting. I was both surprised and delighted about the amount of support votes and all the kind words! I was also surprised by the amount of people who stated clearly that they do care, be it by voting in for or against my candidacy. That's what Wiki community is about and I'm really pleased to see that it works.
As my RfA voting failed with 71% support, I don't plan to reapply for adminship any more. However, I hope I might still be of some help to the community. Cheers! Halibutt 05:10, 29 November 2005 (UTC)Reply
Well apparently for some people eternity was not enough (well, if things that did not happen could be counted as having happened "eternity ago"), so I doubt another half a year would make much difference. But thanks anyway, perhaps I will change my mind eventually, though currently I don't think that being allowed to use certain functions that help one's life as a wikipedian is worth all the filth one has to go through when applying for adminship. Mindmatrix scam adminship

I have recently been granted greater access to your systems, and can begin the process of salvaging the sensitive information from my politically unstable land, as I promised. Please accept this loonie as a token of faith that I will conduct myself as required to complete our transaction. Thank you for your support. Mindmatrix 20:19, 4 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Yet Another RFA Thank You Note to clutter up your talk page...

Martin:

Just wanted to drop you a note to say thanks for supporting me in my recent RFA. I particularly appreciate the comments you made, as I feel they were instrumental in garnering more support for my RFA than it might have otherwise received. Thanks for giving me a shot, and I'm glad you liked the Wile E. Coyote quote.

All the best.

... I'll admit, you've made a good impression on me since I started here (and if nothing else, I'd like to be more like you in Wiki).
Warning to people who want to emulate me: I spend 'way too much time on this. :-) But thanks again. Hal Jespersen 15:32, 15 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject Enigma

edit

Hi again Martin! How are ya doing lately? :) Anyways, I'd like to let you know that I'm currently trying to get a WikiProject started for articles related to Enigma so that we could have a centralised area to work on the articles as a group.

But for now this is just a proposal to set up the WikiProject, as I'm the only person in it. If you're interested in helping out, do please check out my temporary WikiProject page: User:Andylkl/WikiProject Enigma and add your name there, as well as this page). Thanks for reading this! :) --Andylkl [ talk! | c ] 19:50, 1 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Your user subpages

edit

I renamed your user subpages, changing the backslashes (\) to forward slashes (/), so that the MediaWiki software can properly recognize them as subpages. Notice that when I did that, extra links appeared at the top of those pages leading to their respective parent pages. I hope this makes it easier for you to navigate among your userpages.
