A discussion is taking place as to whether the article G-ARRP is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/G-ARRP until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Proposed deletion of The Eye Wales

The article The Eye Wales has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The article is a strange mix of info about a website and a BLP. The website does not meet WP:NNEWSPAPER in any way. A number of the details contained in this article are either non notable or even libellous, making specific claims about individuals with no source other than the website itself.

Sockpuppet investigation

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. Wikipedia and copyright

Hello Martin Clintergate, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your additions to Phil Parry have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

• Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. I was a bit dismayed to be accused of sock puppetry as I know none of the people involved in my contributions. Although I have been here for five years I have only recently got interested in contributing. My main interest is in foreign news and to me Wales comes under that tag as I spend most of my retirement here in Thailand.Martin Clintergate (talk) 00:39, 18 March 2020 (UTC)

• Without having seen the content but noticing the edit, I would recommend you have a read of WP:COPYQUOTE as tends to be the issue with these kinds of copyright claims. Llemiles (talk) 22:16, 6 June 2020 (UTC)

My journalist background suggests you and Sionk have an agenda with Phil Parry and his Wales Eye website which has published a number of articles against resurgent Welsh nationalism. Both of you clearly live in the eastern South Wales valleys and in all probability within 20 miles of each othef and Parry. You also both have an interest in editing Nation Cymru which is a pro independence Welsh website that carries very little news but a lot of opinion.

Quite simply Martin, you're a kook. I've made nearly 3,000 edits and created over 250 articles here. Nation.Cymru is just but one.
