Jim Clark

edit

The Jim Clark page is now semi-protected due to repeated disruptive editing / vandalisation from some named and also some anonymous users that drastically altered the context and content of the article.

Besides blocking anonymous edits semi-protection also prevents edits from newly registered users. Leave it a few days, maybe editing a few other articles in the meantime and then revisit the Jim Clark page and you will be able to make your changes. Having looked at the draft version on your sandbox page it looks ok at first glance. M100 08:29, 1 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Would you like to join a FC Bayern Munich Taskforce at WikiProject Munich? Kingjeff 20:43, 23 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Welcome, Markus Matei, to the WikiProject on Munich! Please direct any questions about the project to its talk page. If you create new articles on Munich-related topics, please list them at our announcement page and tag their talk page with our project template {{WikiProject Germany|Munich=yes}}. A few features that you might find helpful:

  • The project's Navigation box points to most of the pages in the project that might be of use to you.
  • Most of the important discussions related to the project take place on the project's main talk page; you may find it useful to watchlist it.
  • We are in the process of developing a number of standards for names, titles, and other things to standardize our articles and make interlinking easier that you may find useful.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me or any of the more experienced members of the project, and we'll be very happy to help you. Again, welcome, and thank you for joining this project!

The FC Baytern Munich Task Force is located here.

Nonsense of User:Johnna Williams

edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on User:Johnna Williams, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because User:Johnna Williams provides no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting User:Johnna Williams, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
