Recent Years edit

I see you are making a number of changes to recent years. Please note the format the page is defined in WP:RY. The additions you are making do not follow the format in WP:WY and will be reversed. ttonyb (talk) 19:15, 21 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Do not reverse my edits. Proper formats are being followed. Please review my edits as they are helpful to the articles. I am only adding a needed reference to verify that the Gregorian Calendar had no year zero.

If you wish to change the format of recent years, please present the argument in the talk page of WP:RY and get consensus for the change. Until you do you are bypassing a format that has under gone much discussion. ttonyb (talk) 19:31, 21 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
If you continue these changes you will be in violation of WP:3RR. I again ask you to get consensus on the talk page of WP:RY. ttonyb (talk) 19:36, 21 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
WP:RY says nothing about references. The general policy is that articles must be referenced. Why don't you present your argument in the talk page of WP:RY and get consensus to remove the valid and useful reference that I have added to some of the articles. If you think that controversial facts should NOT be referenced, then make your case in that discussion. Until you have a consensus on this issue - stop reverting my edits. This is not a controversial issue or an issue of BLP. Again, I suggest you present your reasons for changing the format that has been discussed at length by many editors. I am trying to work with you to avoid a warring situation, as I have indicated this format has been created with much oversight by others.
I have left you a Welcome message and you may want to review some of the sections. in particular you may want to look at Wikipedia:Five pillars. ttonyb (talk) 19:44, 21 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
I am helping the article by adding a useful and valid reference. Please stop your edit war. If you want to open a discussion at WP:RY then do so, but do not remove my useful and valid reference until there is a consensus to do so. If the subject of references has already been discussed, and a consensus has been reach to not put references in the article - then please point me to it. Otherwise, leave my edits alone. It is controversial. Get consensus at WT:RY before you do it again. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 20:04, 21 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
I have started a discussion here [1]. I look forward to reading your input. Mantes (talk) 20:55, 21 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
