Note edit

Hello Mallory,

I'm an admin here. Someone has pointed out to me that you might have a conflict of interest (COI) regarding May First/People Link. We actually have a guideline on that which I'd like to draw your attention to: WP:COI. In a nutshell, writing about something you're involved with is not forbidden, but it is usually discouraged. Can I ask you to read through that guideline, and let it guide your future editing on this subject?

Be aware that some people here take potential COI's more, or less, aggressively than others. If someone starts trying to force you to give up commenting or something like that, you can check WP:COI to make sure what they're asking you to do agrees with that guideline. And on the other hand, it is often a good idea that someone with a strong COI take a back seat in editing the article.

If this sounds threatening, then I'm sorry, as that's not my intention. Just trying to keep all of us on the same track: neutral, reliable, sourced information. Let me know if you have any questions. --Floquenbeam (talk) 19:28, 4 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
