Hi

I will try and help you expand the article.

For the moment I have added the "under construction" template to try and divert the inevitable deletion prod. Normally we would work on something like this in our sandbox (a page created in our own userspace that is exempt from most rules) and copy it over to mainspace once it was in a reasonable state. I am surprised that it has not attracted comments for deletion with it having such a small amount of info in it. There is also the problem of other article already in existence and whether or not this article would contain enough to be a "stand-alone". (see Electronic nose and Machine olfaction)

Nonetheless it is a subject that needs working on and I will try and help you out. It may be that the material is eventually merged with another article (as the subject may not be notable enough to stand on its own - for example the "sniffing" technique is used in airport s) but, for now, lets see how we get on. Hope you understand why I did what I did. I turned the page you created into a redirect page and moved your text to the article. If you are a new editor, feel free to ask for any help you need and I will be more than willing to assist you :¬) Chaosdruid (talk) 18:47, 20 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
