Template's image

Why exactly was the triforce symbol removed? Is it a licensing issue? --Anthony5429 16:04, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

I've used Image:Triangle-image2.gif instead of the Z in lieu of the triforce, which is part of a copyrighted work. If most of the users of this userbox prefer the Z, I'm not against changing it back but hopefully this is a satisfactory alternative. BigNate37_(T) 22:56, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

Perhaps something like Image:CaledfwlchClose.gif would be even more preferable? What would be really neat is if someone took free images of a sword and shield and overlaid them on a yellow triangle with black background. BigNate37_(T) 23:05, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

Zelda box

It's a nice image, but it doesn't look so good when it's smaller (29px) (not to mention it's hard to spell) I think the Trifroce is more recognizable and more representative of the Zelda series. As for the link text, I think "from the Legend of Zelda series" would be best, because... hmm... Well, I'm not quite sure why, but it just sounds right. Image size doesn't bother me, however, I'd leave "Zelda series" because I've seen most The Legend of Zelda-related pages use that instead of "from the Legend of Zelda series". Do we need a third opinion? Lord Sesshomaru (talk • edits) 20:41, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
