Londonderry Edit

I fail to see how my edit is POV,it is one of the 32 counties of the island of Ireland,how is stating that POV,the sole mention of it being part of Northern Ireland is misleading.You may not like it,but the fact stands.Sheodred (talk) 13:52, 18 August 2010 (UTC)

It has absolutely nothing to do whether i like it or not - as i've already pointed out we have an agreed manual of style that involved a hell of a lot of argueing and debating that resulted in the county intros that we have, and they are the same for all NI counties with the RoI counties along a similar vein. Enforcing the agreed manual of style has nothing to do with liking or disliking.

So tell me, where exactly does this state that County Londonderry is solely part of Northern Ireland:

Adjoined to the north-west shore of Lough Neagh, the county covers an area of 2,074 km², with a population of approximately 233,550. Whats that in the last sentence of the lede (i've put it in italics for you) - its a statement that County Londonderry is also one of the 32 counties of Ireland and also a part of Ulster!

Aside from that County Londonderry first and foremost is in Northern Ireland, and it is misleading and hints of nationalist pov to put "32-counties" prior to the actual entity that the county belongs in. You may not like it, but the fact stands. Mabuska ^(talk) 22:16, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
