Welcome!

Hello, MR Featured content, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may be removed if they have not yet been. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. As well, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

February 2014 edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Administrators can block users from editing if they repeatedly vandalize. Thank you. Yopie (talk) 19:04, 27 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

You seem to be having a disagreement edit

I wonder if I may be of some service. I think the disagreement is in Umberto II of Italy. I know nothing opf the topic, but let me make a suggestion about editing without strife.

When you add material to articles it is well worth adding an edit summary so that folk may see why you have done what you have done, or, if you feel it will be controversial, to use the article talk page. The reversion and subsequent warning given by Yopie seems to have been done without real comment either, and accuses you of vandalism. You are asking for a moderator, and I understand why in terms of the behaviour exhibited towards you. I have no comment on the edits you made themselves.

Regrettably there is no concept of moderation here. Our administrators are more like janitors than people in charge. We work by consensus. If you feel your edits should be included please use the article talk page to build a consensus for them. If you fail to build this consensus then the edits may not stand. Do not get in to a battle with any other editor. Everyone loses with battles, and participants tend all to be blocked for a while.

I hope this is of some help. Fiddle Faddle 18:06, 28 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
