Kit Templates edit

Nice work on all of the kit templates that you designed and uploaded earlier this week! That's a lot of design work and they all look very good. I do have a couple of suggestions for you though:

  • When designing kit templates, please include transparency in every pattern that you create. That way they can be used for other teams using the same design but different colors (this is particularly helpful for kits with black, white, red, and blue details).
  • Also, when designing for a particular team, please use a naming convention that only includes the first season that the kit was used. For example, with European leagues, use teamname1011h, teamname1011a, and teamname1011t. With US leagues, use teamname2010h, teamname2010a, teamname2010t. This will let us use these same templates for the season specific pages for these teams. Using h/a/t as the home/away/third identifier is preferred to I/II/III because Wikipedia and most clubs name the kits Home, Away, and Third by default.
  • When updating a clubs template for the current season, make sure to update both the "main" article for that club as well as the "current season" article for that club.
  • Finally, please make sure to update the EN, DE, FR, IT, PL, NL, PT, RU, ES, and JA pages for the team that you're editing. It's a quick and easy way to make sure that fans around the world can identify the teams. These sites are the ones identified at wikipedia.org as being most commonly accessed.

Again, thanks for your hard work.

Vancouver Whitecaps FC (MLS) edit

Please stop changing the kit on the Vancouver Whitecaps FC (MLS). http://www.vancouversun.com/entertainment/Vancouver+Whitecaps+announce+Bell+major+sponsor/3136892/story.html and other sources show the design. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 15:56, 12 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

And you are doing it again st the Sounders page. Since you refuse to use the talk page or see previsous reasoning: consider this your second warning. Sure you mean only well but continuing is just going to start trouble. Say "hi" at talk and provide reasoning.Cptnono (talk) 07:21, 11 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Portland Timbers kits edit

Hi. I noticed you just did some editing to the Timbers kits but now both the Primary and Primary alt have green shorts. DemonJuice (talk) 15:53, 18 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi. I changed both shorts, green to white and white to green (the official shop has no shorts listed, so I decided that the white shorts are the primary, because they were used during home matches so far). Luxusfrosch (talk) 17:39, 18 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
But now the primary shorts and the primary alt shorts are both green. DemonJuice (talk) 21:21, 18 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
Hi. http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Kit_shorts_TIMBERS_11h.png should be white and http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Kit_shorts_TIMBERS_11h2.png green. If not, there's a problem with "your" wikipedia or wikicommons. Luxusfrosch (talk) 09:00, 19 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
Hmm... they are both green on all of my computers (home, work, school) and my phone. DemonJuice (talk) 16:08, 19 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
Nevermind. Cleared my cache and it's fine. Duh. Is there a reason you removed the yellow stripe at the bottom? DemonJuice (talk) 16:11, 19 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
As you can see on these two photos (http://www.portlandtimbers.com/news/2011/04/timbers-contentos-con-su-primer-punto-en-la-temporada, http://www.portlandtimbers.com/news/2011/03/timbers-see-definite-improvement-despite-loss), there is no yellow stripe at the bottom of the game worn green and white shorts. Luxusfrosch (talk) 18:22, 19 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
Ah, well, there ya go, then. Nice work. DemonJuice (talk) 20:29, 22 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

FC Seoul old jersey revise edit

One with dark adidas stripes is 2002 season kit and One with white didas stripe is 2003 season kit. But I think that you need not to seperate in fully detail regading every season. It's enough to revise just key point jersey of 1983-2003 season. Please refer to this website and revise FC Seoul old jersey image in artice. http://www.fcseoul.com/history.jsp 224Page Thanks

New York Red Bulls edit

They apparently have a third kit. I removed the original addition since it had a lot of logos. I then tried to replace it with a copy, but didn't quite get it. If you have the time would you mind adjusting it? Someone added a link to the actual kit on the talk page. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 14:25, 18 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Real Salt Lake 2014 Kit edit

Hi, I'm a bit new to editing wikipedia. I noticed that you reverted a change I made to the RSL 2014 kit, with the note that 'the kit has not been confirmed yet'. Yesterday the kit was unveiled at yesterday's media event, but has not been put on the club website yet. Other media sources have covered it [6], [7]. Is that enough to go ahead and change the kit to the 2014 version? I probably should have linked the article as a source for the change.
Thanks for your help. Feel free to delete this talk comment. UtahGooners (talk) 21:57, 5 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for fixing the image on the 2014 kit and socks, the change quite well reflects the actual kit and is better than my simple gold bar. UtahGooners (talk) 19:42, 9 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
